  Obiettivi di apprendimento Learning outcomes Conoscenze

Programma di Medicina Interna:

Importanza di saper interpretare gli esami di laboratorio per la diagnosi di patologia: significato del range di riferimento. Esami di laboratorio diagnostici per le patologie del sangue, funzione epatica, renale, diabete, stati infiammatori.

Anemie: classificazione e quadri clinici. Emocromatosi, eritrocitemia

Leucopenie e leucocitosi forme cliniche ed esami di laboratorio

Trombocitemie e piastrinopenie,forme cliniche ed esami di laboratorio

Tromboembolie periferiche e polmonare.

Emergenze metaboliche: come iperosmolare, chetoacidosico, ipoglicemico, Sincope, definizione di coma, alterazioni elettrolitiche.

Diabete: Classificazione, eziopatogenesi e diagnsosi.

Obesità

Cause di ipertensione secondaria

Iperuricemia, gotta

Celiachia: eziopatogenesi e quadri clinici

Epatopatie su base virale e cirrosi epatica

Classificazione ed eziopatogenesi delle glonerulopatie e tubulopatia

Knowledge

The student who completes the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the main topics related to diseases of main organs, basic pharmacology, drug delivery, drug kinetics and bioavailability of drugs. Basic notions about induction of drug tolerance and drug resistence will be given. The student will acquire knowledge about drug metabolism and individual-related diversity in metabolism.

Syllabus

The course provides general knowledge of most common diseases and pharmacological basis of therapeutics. drug delivery and metabolism. The course provides notions for various drugs interaction sites and mechanism of action. Therapeutic effects, mechanisms of action and toxicology are analysed during the course. Mechanisms for drug-induced tolerance and drug-induced resistence are provided.

  • Farmacologia generale. Nomenclatura, evoluzione della farmacologia, modelli di studio in farmacologia. Definizione di farmaco. Effetti terapeutici ed effetti tossici delle sostanze.
  • Sperimentazione dei farmaci: studi preclinici e clinici. Tolleranza e dipendenza da farmaci. Resistenza ai farmaci. Desensitizzazione.
  • Farmacocinetica. Vie di somminstrazione dei farmaci. Assorbimento, distribuzione , metabolismo, eliminazione.
  • Farmacodinamica. Interazione farmaco/recettore. Neurotrasmissione. Curve dose/risposte. Potenza, Efficacia, Affinità. Agonisti e antagonisti recettoriali. Indice terapeutico e tossicità.
  • Blocco della conduzione nervosa. Anestetici locali.
  • Terapia del dolore: FANS e Oppiacei
  • Ansiolitici. Antidepressivi.
  • Antipsicotici
  • Sistema cardiovascolare: Terapie dello scompenso cardiaco
  • Sistema cardiovascolare: glicosidi cardioattivi
  • Terapia antibiotica: generalità
