Durante il corso lo studente impara il processo-prodotto per la filiera delle costruzioni: progetto, costruzione e gestione costituiscono un “unicium”. Gli argomenti proposti sono sviluppati per permettere di maturare una concezione olistica nella professione.
Domotica
Durante il corso, lo studente impara le teconologie necessarie per progettare una rete domotica. Inoltre, imparerà ad analizzare dei semplici circuiti elettrici lineari; a scegliere sensori ed attuatori appropriati per l'applicazione di interesse; ad implementare delle semplici regole di controllo per regolare le variabili di interesse e a progettare applicazioni domotiche utilizzando il linguaggio SFC.
During the course the student learns the process-product for the construction chain: project, construction and management as one. The proposed topics are developed to allow a holistic conception for the practice by the student.
Domotica
The student who successfully completes the course will be aware of the technological issues arising in home automation networks; also, the student will be able to analyse simple linear electric circuits, to choose sensors and actuators appropriate for the application of interest, and to implement simple control laws to regulate the variables of interest.
Le conoscenze verranno verificate tramite la risoluzione di esercizi e tramite un colloquio con il docente in una prova orale.
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to solve exercises and to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material.
Methods: final oral exam
Lo studente acquisirà la capacità critica di:
- sviluppare un progetto anche di edificio complesso considerando la fase di costruzione e di gestione
- modellare una rete domotica scegliendone i componenti più appropriati per la realizzazione.
The student who successfully completes the course will develop the skills to choose the appropriate means of communication and the appropriate devices to plan and realise:
- a design of a building (complex, too) thinking how the decisions the chosen the technical solutions
are related to the phase of construction and the phase of managment
- domotica: a home/building automation network.

The student who successfully completes the course will develop a critical behaviour to autonomously decide:
- how to optimize the resources to design, to build and to manage the opera
- domotica: what control systems can be conveniently realised in a home/building-automation-like way.

Mixed-use building. The project integrates formal, functional and technical contents; it is bound by current local and national regulations, by the control of mutual interference between spaces, structure, facilities, urban environment.

Domotica
The course covers the basic theory of electric linear circuits, and provides some notions of control and communication theory. Also, the course gives an overview of sensors and actuators adopted for home automation purposes, and of the different communication networks that can be used to exchange data. Finally, the utilisation of SFC graphs for modelling a home/building automation network is also explained.
