Al termine del corso:
At the end of the course:
For the assessment of the knowledge two ongoing written tests and a student seminar will be performed. An oral exam will be performed by not-in-course students.
Al termine del corso:
During the course the student should show to have acquired the ability to relate functional properties of microorganisms with ability to increase soil biological fertility and plant growth and health.
At the end of the course the student will acquire the ability to perform functional tests for microbiological studies and awareness of problems related to the decrease of biological fertility of soils.
La verifica dei comportamenti sarà effettuata:
The behaviour verification will be performed:
The student should know general microbiology.
Lectures are held with the help of slides, the laboratory lessons will be performed in a laboratory designed and equipped for microbiological practices. The laboratory practices will be performed in groups of students. The e-learning site will be used to provide teaching material and to communicate with the students. The interaction between teacher and students take salso place through meetings, e-mail. Intermediate written tests are present.

Non-attending students may use the teaching material provided in the e-learning site and check the lesson register.
The exam consists of two ongoing written tests for attending students. The tests consists of a series of questions concerning the topics of the course, up to one week before the test. The students will also give a seminar. The positive tests are valid for the entire academic year.
The written tests are passed if a mark of 18/30 is reached. If the student has a positive mark (at the least 18/30) in both tests and in the seminar, the exam is considered passed and an average mark is calculated. In case the mark is below 18/30 in one of the two tests, the student must give the relevant oral exam.
Non attending students and thgose who do not take the ongoing tests, must pass an oral exam. For students wanting to improve their mark, the oral exam will concern the whole programme.
