Obiettivo del corso è quello di fornire gli strumenti teorici e analitici della geografia politica, in relazione alla loro distribuzione nello spazio e al loro sviluppo diacronico.
Saranno presentati i concetti chiave della geografia politica, con particolare attenzione agli aspetti spaziali dei fenomeni politici e culturali e delle dinamiche territoriali, con attenzione alle forme organizzative e strutturali prodotte, per permettere agli studenti di interpretare criticamente fenomeni complessi che prendono forma nello spazio.
The aim of the course is to provide the theoretical and analytical tools of political geography, in relation to their distribution in space and their diachronic development.
The key concepts of political geography will be presented, with particular attention to the spatial aspects of political and cultural phenomena and territorial dynamics, with attention to the organizational and structural forms produced, to allow students to critically interpret complex phenomena that take shape in space.
Verranno valutate la capacità di apprendimento dei contenuti del corso e la capacità di rielaborazione personale.
The learning ability of the course contents and the capacity for personal re-elaboration will be evaluated.
Il corso mira a stimolare gli studenti ad acquisire la capacità di situare e di interpretare i fenomeni nello spazio e di comprendere i possibili scenari futuri utilizzando il linguaggio specifico della geografia. Per questo motivo verranno fornite nozioni di base di rappresentazione delle informazioni geografiche, come strumento di sintesi utile alla comprensione dei fenomeni politici.
The course aims to stimulate students to acquire the ability to situate and interpret phenomena in space and to understand possible future scenarios using the specific language of geography. For this reason, basic notions of representation of geographical information will be provided, as a synthesis tool useful for understanding political phenomena.
Verrà valutata la capacità di esporre in maniera critica le problematiche affrontate e di usare una terminologia appropriata.
The ability to critically expose the issues addressed and to use appropriate terminology will be evaluated.
