Tutti gli studenti iscritti a Scienze della Formazione Primaria presso l’Università di Pisa sono tenuti, per poter partecipare ai laboratori di lingua inglese, a sostenere un test iniziale per l’accertamento del livello di appartenenza (placement test). Il placement test è sostenuto una sola volta al momento dell’immatricolazione (è previsto in due date). La non partecipazione al placement test comporta la non ammissione alla frequenza dei laboratori di lingua inglese. L’esito del placement test sostenuto all’inizio del primo anno di corso, dopo l’immatricolazione, servirà a distribuire gli studenti nel seguente modo:
All students enrolled in SFP at the University of Pisa are required, in order to participate in the English language laboratories, to take an initial test to ascertain their level (placement test).
The placement test is taken only once at the time of enrollment (it is scheduled on two dates within the beginning of the second term). Failure to participate in the placement test entails not being able to attend the English language workshops. The result of the placement test taken at the beginning of the first year of the course, after enrollment, will serve to distribute the students in the following way:
Revisione grammaticale dei contenuti e del lessico indicati al punto 'conoscenze', con particolare riferimento al lessico formulare inerente l'interazione in contesto scolastico. Si condurrà una riflessione sul metalinguaggio e sulle strutture impiegate. Ci si avvarrà di materiali audiovisivi incentrati sulla cornice classe, in modo da esemplificare le dinamiche in contesto. Questi materiali saranno organizzati negli anni in maniera graduale, dal più semplice al più complesso. Si inizierà con alcuni testi animati rivolti all'infanzia, utilizzati sia come oggetto di analisi, sia come esempi di materiali autentici da poter impiegare nella classe con i bambini.
GRAMMATICA:
Verbi regolari ed irregolari
Modali: can, could, would, will, shall, should, may, have to, must, mustn’t, need, needn’t.
Tempi verbali: present simple, present continuous, present perfect simple , past simple and continuous. Futuro con will, shall, be going to.
Forme verbali: affermativa, interrogativa, negativa. Imperativo. Infiniti seguiti da gerundio o infinito. Passivo presente e passato semplice.
Frasi subordinate: that, if, when, where, because.
Discorso indiretto semplice
Interrogativi: where, what, when, who, whose, which, how, why
Sostantivi: singolare, plurale, numerabili/ non numerabili, nomi composti, genitivo e doppio genitivo
Pronomi: personali, impersonali (it, there), dimostrativi, quantitativi, indefiniti, relativi
Articoli e partitivi
Aggettivi: colore, dimensione, forma, qualità, nazionalità; predicativi e attributivi
Numeri cardinali e ordinali
Aggettivi e pronomi possessivi, dimostrativi, quantitativi
Comparativi e superlativi (regolari e irregolari)
Avverbi di tempo, di modo, di luogo, di grado, indefiniti. Preposizioni: di luogo, di tempo, di direzione, di compagnia, d’agente

LESSICO:
Particolare attenzione al lessico della classe (e.g. “open your book at page..”); attività su grammatica e teatro; Total Physical Response activities, canzoni e jazz chants.
Grammar review of the contents and vocabulary indicated in the 'knowledge' section above, with particular reference to the vocabulary of the interaction in a school context. A reflection on the metalanguage and on the structures will be conducted. We will make use of audiovisual materials focusing on the classroom frame, in order to exemplify the dynamics in context. These materials will be organized gradually over the years, from the simplest to the most complex. We will start with some animated texts aimed at children, used both as an object of analysis, and as examples of authentic materials to be used in the class with children.
