Per ciascuno degli argomenti trattati, lo studente acquisirà i concetti teorici (OBIETTIVO DI APPRENDIMENTO 1).
For each of the topics of the course, the student will understand of the theory (LEARNING OBEJCTIVE 1).
A conclusione di ciascun argomento, allo studente sarà proposto un questionario online per la verifica delle nozioni teoriche apprese (OBIETTIVI DI APPRENDIMENTO 1)
For each topic, the students will be asked to fill an online questionnaire to assess their level of understanding the theory (LEARNING OBEJCTIVE 1).
Per ciascuno degli argomenti trattati, lo studente saprà interpretare un elaborato statistico (OBIETTIVO DI APPRENDIMENTO 2) e saprà applicare i concetti appresi a contesti specifici (OBIETTIVO DI APPRENDIMENTO 3).
For each topic of the course, the student will learn how to interpret a statistical report (Learning OBJECTIVE 2); How to apply the concepts to specific contexts (Learning OBJECTIVE 3).
Saranno proposti una serie di esercizi di cui verranno fornite dettagliate soluzioni. Alcuni degli esercizi saranno svolti in classe e gli altri potranno essere risolti autonomamente dagli studenti.
Exercises with the solutions will be provided. Some will be discussed in class, others will be solved independently by the student.
Allo studente sarà richiesto di seguire attivamente le lezioni frontali e svolgere autonomamente gli esercizi ed in questionari assegnati.
The student will be asked to be involved in the classes and perform the assignments.

La teoria sarà esposta durante le lezioni frontali (OBIETTIVO DI APPRENDIMENTO 1). Le lezioni teoriche saranno corredate dalla presentazione e discussione di esempi specifici tratti dalla letteratura (OBIETTIVO DI APPRENDIMENTO 2). Saranno proposti una serie di esercizi di cui verranno fornite dettagliate soluzioni (OBIETTIVO DI APPRENDIMENTO 3).
The theory will be presented through lectures (LEARNING ONJECTIVE 1). During the lectures the teacher will present and discuss examples taken from the literature (LEARNING ONJECTIVE 2). A number of exercises with the solutions will be available to students. Some will be discussed in class (LEARNING ONJECTIVE 3).

STATISTICA MEDICA: La prova d’esame consisterà in 4 esercizi ciascuno composto di tre domande e 1 esercizio composto da 4 domande. Le domande saranno relative alla comprensione della teoria e alla sua applicazione. Potrà essere inoltre inclusa una domanda relativa alla comprensione di un breve testo tratto da un articolo scientifico. Per ciascuna domanda verranno assegnati fino a 2 punti. Il voto finale massimo raggiungibile è pari ad un totale di 32 che corrisponde al 30 e lode.
The exam will consist of 4 exercises each with three questions and 1 exercise with four questions. Questions will assess the level of understanding of the theory and the ability of the student to apply the theory. The exam could also include one questions about the interpretation of a short text from a scientific article. Each question will be marked up to 2 points. The maximum final mark achievable is equal to a total of 32 which corresponds to 30 cum laude.
