Al termine del corso:
At the end of the course:
- the student will have acquired knowledge about the tools for understanding the debate on human rights, and for the development of autonomous thinking on the issue;
- the student will be able to acquire knowledge regarding the historical evolution of philosophical, legal and political thought, with reference to the theme of human rights
La verifica delle conoscenze potrà essere condotta, oltre che attraverso l'esame conclusivo, da prove in itinere orali facoltative, dove le studentesse e gli studenti potranno discutere un saggio sui contenuti fino a quel momento trattati a lezione.
The assessment of knowledge will be subject to the evaluation of the written papers and / or oral presentations scheduled during the semester and / or at the beginning of each exam session.
Alle studentesse e agli studenti è richiesta una capacità di organizzare il pensiero, creando collegamenti tra aree tematiche e cronologiche, ed una capacità critica su quanto appreso.
The student is required to have an ability to organize thought, creating links between thematic and chronological areas, and a critical capacity on what has been learned.
Potranno essere svolte prove scritte in itinere, al fine di alleggerire il carico dell'esame finale.
Written tests may be held in itinere, in order to lighten the burden of the final exam.
La studentessa e lo studente potranno acquisire e/o sviluppare sensibilità alle problematiche inerenti i diritti umani.
The student will be able to acquire and / or develop sensitivity to human rights issues.
Durante il corso saranno valutate le capacità di dialogare sul tema oggetto del corso.
During the course, the ability to communicate on the subject of the course will be assessed, and to present it in written form.
Basic knowledge of history, philosophy and current events.
Il Corso si propone di fornire ai suoi studenti gli strumenti teorici per comprendere e analizzare il tema dei diritti umani in chiave critica e riflessiva, mettendone in luce i presupposti storici dell’affermazione, i sostegni concettuali dell’emersione, e le problematicità legate al loro riconoscimento nell’epoca contemporanea.
Il percorso di conoscenza e critica si articolerà in tre parti: la prima, dedicata alla concezione del diritto, dei diritti e dei diritti umani nella storia del pensiero giuridico-filosofico; la seconda, volta a mettere in luce il ruolo dei diritti umani rispetto al potere politico costituito, la terza, mirata ad evidenziare le criticità legate all’affermazione e alla tutela concreta dei diritti umani nel mondo.

The course aims to provide its students with the theoretical tools to understand and analyze the theme of human rights in a critical and reflective key, highlighting the historical assumptions of the affirmation, the conceptual supports of the emergence, and the problems related to their recognition in the contemporary era.
The path of knowledge and criticism will be divided into three parts: the first, dedicated to the conception of law, rights and human rights in the history of juridical-philosophical thought; the second, aimed at highlighting the role of human rights with respect to the established political power, the third, aimed at highlighting the critical issues related to the affirmation and concrete protection of human rights in the world.

Gli studenti e le studentesse che abbiano frequentato almeno il 70% delle lezioni potranno avvalersi direttamente ed esclusivamente degli appunti delle lezioni.
