Conoscenze

Partendo da esercizi ed esperienze pratiche,il lavoro pedagogico con gli studenti affronterà anche i temi teorici del lavoro dell’attore.
Di seguito si studieranno i principi fondamentali della messa in scena ed alcuni esempi di regia.

Knowledge

The student who completes the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of the history of theatre direction; he or she will develop an awareness of examples taken from contemporary age and will be able to present his/her studies to the colleagues in a structured way.

Le materia affrontate saranno oggetto di verifica nel corso dell'esame orale conclusivo.

Assessment criteria of knowledge

During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression. The student must demonstrate the ability to put into practice and to execute, with critical awareness, the activities illustrated or carried out under the guidance of the teacher during the course.

Capacità

Sarà fondamentale l'aspetto pratico e applicativo dei temi trattati, in particolare per quanto riguarda la formulazione di progetti registici.

Sono previste esercitazioni pratiche.

Gli studenti saranno stimolati a produrre ed esprimere idee applicabili nella pratica teatrale.

Le esercitazioni pratiche in itinere e l'esame orale conclusivo serviranno a verificare i comportamenti.

Programma (contenuti dell'insegnamento)

Dal personaggio alla scena: Il Giardino dei ciliegi

Pensare oggi a costruire un personaggio da parte dell’attore non significa soltanto
riferirsi alle diverse tecniche e alle diverse forme ed esperienze dei teatri.
Riflettere su cosa sia un personaggio significa anche un lavoro di riflessione e di
osservazione su noi stessi come individui.
Comprendere infatti i nostri comportamenti e la loro origine costituisce una grande
ricchezza che parte da noi stessi, arriva al teatro e ritorna, come un’ossessione
arricchita, ancora verso di noi.
Non si tratta soltanto di costruire Il Giardino dei Ciliegi nella mente dello spettatore, ma anche di
comprendere, attraverso il lavoro dell’attore, come lo spettatore costruisca giorno per
giorno, ora per ora, momento per momento, il proprio testo.
Allora il teatro diventa un autentico lavoro su noi stessi e la forma che daremo nella
messa in scena di un’opera, qualsiasi essa sia, non sarà soltanto una “forma”, bensì la
ricerca su quale vita segreta si nasconde dietro quella forma.
Il regista diventa così un cacciatore di una verità che si nasconde nella nostra
esperienza quotidiana, e la parola Teatro sarà il sentiero verso qualcosa di
sconosciuto.

From the character to the stage

Thinking about a character implies a reflection on the different techniques and different forms and experiences of theaters.

The practical and seminar aspect of the course is fundamental.

Non-attending students will be asked to read the recommended bibliography (see above) and the ability to argue about the topics covered.

Modalità d'esame

La prova orale consiste in un colloquio tra il candidato e il docente, o anche tra il candidato e altri collaboratori del docente titolare.

Assessment methods

The examination consists of an interview between the candidate and the teacher, or even between the candidate and other collaborators of the titular teacher.
