Il corso di "Lingua ebraica" si propone di insegnare a chi partecipa le basi dell'ebraico biblico.
The student who successfully completes the course will obtain a general knowledge of the peculiarities of the Semitic languages (their geographical and chronological diffusion; their writing systems; their grammatical structure). Besides it, the student will acquire an introductory knowledge of a specific Semitic language (in 2014-2015 the language will be Egyptian Aramaic).

The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology.

Saper tradurre un testo ebraico biblico, e spiegarlo negli aspetti grafici, fonetici, grammaticali e sintattici in riferimento ai principi generali delle lingue semitiche.

E' previsto l'impiego di manuali, grammatiche e vocabolari in lingue diverse dell'italiano (inglese, francese, tedesco).

Grammatica dell'ebraico biblico; elementi di sintassi. Lettura e commento grammaticale di brani dalle crestomazie delle grammatiche adottate.
The Semitic languages: 1) geographical and chronological diffusion; 2) writing systems; 3) comparative grammar; 4) a case study: Aramaic documents from Egypt.
