Conoscenze

Si affronteranno testi e questioni filologiche relative alla produzione romanzesca in prosa del sec. XIII, con particolare riguardo al ciclo della Vulgata del Graal.
Knowledge

Texts end philological problems relating to romanesque prose production of the XIII century, with particular regard to the cycle of the Vulgate of the Grail.
Modalità di verifica delle conoscenze

Esame orale alla fine del corso.

Il corso da 6 CFU avrà termine con la fine del primo semestre (dicembre 2018).

Chi intendesse sostenere l'esame da 12 CFU, deve estendere la frequenza anche al secondo semestre (febbraio-maggio 2019).
Assessment criteria of knowledge

During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression. The student must demonstrate the ability to approach a circumscribed research problem, and organise an effective exposition of the results.

Al termine del corso lo studente avrà acquisito un quadro dei fondamentali aspetti legati alla tradizione del romanzo in prosa francese del sec. XIII.

After completing the course the student will have acquired a complete visual of the fundamental aspects related to the tradition of the French prose of the century XIII.

Lo studente dovrà dimostrare di possedere gli elementi e le nozioni acquisiti durante il corso attraverso soprattutto la lettura e il commento filologico-linguistico dei testi.
Assessment criteria of skills

The student must demonstrate that he possesses the elements and concepts acquired during the course, above all through the reading and philological-linguistic commentary of the texts.

Il romanzo arturiano in prosa francese del sec. XIII: la "Vulgata" del Graal.

Syllabus

The course provides general informations about old French narrative texts of the Vulgate cycle. A great part of the course will be dedicated to the reading and translation of some parts of the Vulgate cycle with historical, textual, literary and linguistic notes. It is planned to organize seminars related to the course.
