Al termine del corso, se lo studente avrà frequentato con assiduità (per almeno l'80%), impegno e serietà le lezioni (semestrali) e le esercitazioni (annuali):
- lo studente potrà avere acquisito il livello B1+ di competenza strumentale della lingua portoghese
- lo studente potrà aver acquisito gli strumenti necessari alla riflessione sulle strutture sintattiche complesse del portoghese
At the end of the course, if the student has attended the course (for at least 80%), with commitment and seriousness the lessons (throughout the semester) and has done the exercises (on an annual basis):
- the student may have acquired the B1 + level of instrumental competence of the Portuguese language
- S/he should have acquired the tools necessary for a reflection on the complex syntactic structures of Portuguese
Per l'accertamento delle conoscenze
- saranno assegnati esercizi da svolgere in autonomia o collettivamente durante il periodo di lezione
- saranno messe a disposizione esercitazioni su determinati argomenti da svolgere in autononomia e sarà cura dello studente consegnarli ai docenti e partecipare ai ricevimenti individuali per la correzione
For the assessment of knowledge exercises will be done independently or collectively during the period of the lessons. Exercises will be available on certain topics to be carried out in autonomy and will be the student's responsibility to deliver them to professors and attend individual receivings for correction.
Al termine del corso, se lo studente avrà frequentato con assiduità (per almeno l'80%), impegno e serietà le lezioni (semestrali) e le esercitazioni (annuali):
- sarà in grado di leggere, scrivere, capire e parlare la lingua portoghese (livello B1+)
- avrà sviluppato coscienza metalinguistica su questioni inerenti alla semantica e alla morfopragmatica
- sarà in grado di usare consapevolmente le strutture di coordinazione e subordinazione
- sarà in grado di tradurre in e dal portoghese testi semplici.
At the end of the course, if the student has attended the course (for at least 80%), with commitment and seriousness the lessons (throughout the semester) and has done the exercises (on an annual basis):
- S/he will be able to read, write, understand and speak Portuguese (at a B1+ level)
- S/he will have developed meta-linguistic consciousness on issues related to semantics and morpho-pragmatics
- S/he will be able to consciously use the coordination and subordination structures
- S/he will be able to translate simple textes from and to portuguese.

During the lessons consolidation exercises (both written and oral) will be carried out. In addition, the structures introduced during the course will be proposed in the form of exercises to be carried out autonomously and which will be corrected and commented on.
Se lo studente frequenta con assiduità (per almeno l'80%), impegno e serietà le lezioni (semestrali) e le esercitazioni (annuali):
- può acquisire metodo nell'apprendimento contrastivo delle lingue portoghese-italiano
- può acquisire consapevolezza riguardo a meccanismi semantici e morfopragmatici
- può acquisire consapevolezza rispetto strutture sintattiche complesse e saperle usare in ogni contesto comunicativo
If the student regularly attends (for at least 80%) with commitment and seriousness the lessons (half-yearly) and the exercises (annual):
- s/he can acquire a method in the contrastive learning of the Portuguese-Italian languages;
- s/he can gain awareness about semantic and morpho-pragmatic mechanisms;
- s/he can acquire awareness of complex syntactic structures and know how to use them in every communicative context

During the exercises and lessons the students will be asked to carry out activities on the given structures, to formulate hypotheses, to carry out brief research on certain topics suggested in the classroom
Gli studenti dovranno previamente
- saper esprimersi (oralmente e per iscritto) dominando le strutture grafiche, morfologiche, sintattiche elementari, necessarie all'interazione in situazioni quotidiane
- saper comprendere un testo scritto o un discorso orale legati a situazioni della vita quotidiana
- saper leggere e comprendere un testo critico o letterario semplice
- conoscere a grandi linee l'evoluzione diacronica e diatopica del portoghese
- conoscere la fonetica del portoghese europeo e la sua trascrizione IPA
- conoscere gli argomenti basici per la riflessione metalinguistica sul sistema linguistico portoghese, in propsettiva contrastiva
Students must be able to express themselves (both orally and in writing) by dominating the graphic, morphological, basic and necessary syntactical structures to interact in everyday situations; s/he must know how to understand a written text or an oral speech related to situations of everyday life; s/he must know how to read and understand a simple critical or literary text; s/he must know in general the diachronic and diatopic evolution of Portuguese; s/he must know the phonetics of European Portuguese and its IPA transcription; s/he must know the basic topics for the meta-linguistic reflection on the Portuguese linguistic system, in a contrastive perspective.

For both lectures and exercises
- all lessons and exercises are held in Portuguese;
- they take place in the classroom, with the aid of audio and video materials proposed by the professors;

- use of a Handbook for learning Portuguese as a foreign language;
- use of handouts prepared ad hoc by the professor for the course;
- use of the Moodle platform for professor / student interaction and the sharing of materials distributed during lessons and exercises, bibliography or other materials difficult to find or for the autonomous exercise of certain skills;

Dalla frase all'enunciato
Il corso ha come obiettivo il raggiungimento del livello B1+ di competenza, puntando sulla riflessione metalinguistica relativamente alle strutture sintattiche e sulle potenzialità espressive della lingua portoghese, a livello diafasico e diamesico. Sarà data attenzione alla ricezione e alla produzione del discorso, e alle strategie peculiari del registro colloquiale. Tutte le lezioni e le esercitazioni si terranno in portoghese. Il corso sarà suddiviso in due moduli:
La frase complessa (2° sem.): Questo modulo ha come obiettivo l'apprendimento delle strutture complesse della comunicazione, a partire dallo studio della coordinazione e subordinazione delle frasi, delle strategie di focalizzazione e topicalizzazione, delle relazioni di coesione e coerenza in vari tipi testuali e dei segnali discorsivi, con una speciale attenzione alla variazione diafasica della lingua, in prospettiva contrastiva.
Alla fine del corso sarà disponibile su Moodle il programma completo e dettegliato di tutti gli argomenti trattati.
Laboratorio DIPLE (ANNUALE): L'analisi degli aspetti sintattici teorici è accompagnata esercitazioni di comprensione e produzione scritta e orale e da esercizi strutturali guidati, in vista dell'eventuale accesso alla certificazione internazionale PLE.
From utterance to sentence
The course aims to achieve the B1 + level of competence,by focusing on the metalinguistic reflection on the syntactic structures and the expressive potential of the Portuguese language, at the diaphaxical and diametric levels. Attention will be given to the reception and to the production of the speech, and to the peculiar strategies of colloquial register.
All lessons and exercises will be delivered in Portuguese. The course it will be divided into two modules:
The complex sentence (2nd sem.): This module aims to teach the complex structures of communication, by starting from the study of the coordination and subordination of the sentences, the strategies of focus and topicalization, the relationship of cohesion and coherence in various textual types and of the discursive signals, with a special attention to the diaphasic variation of language, in a contrastive perspective.
At the end of the course the complete programme will be available on Moodle with details on all the topics covered.
DIPLE Laboratory (ANNUAL): The analysis of the syntactic and theoretical aspects is accompanied by exercises of comprehension and written /oral production and guided structural exercises, in view of the international PLE certificate.

Per i non frequentanti il programma è identico. I non frequentanti saranno tenuti a consolidare la loro preparazione estendendo lo studio a quattro saggi critici tra quelli indicati nel Programma d'esame caricato su Moodle; dovranno svolgere in autonomia tutti gli esercizi distribuiti a lezione e sarà loro cura consegnare alle docenti gli esercizi svolti e ritirare le correzioni.

For non-attending students the program is identical. Non-attending students will be required to consolidate their preparation by extending the study to four critical essays among those indicated on Moodle; they will have to independently do all the exercises distributed during the lessons and it will be their care to give the professors the exercises done.

Non-attending students are asked to contact the professors at the beginning of the course to plan alternative activities for the DIPLE laboratory.
Tutte le prove (scritte e orali) si terranno in lingua portoghese.
Il voto finale sarà unico e risulterà dalla media ponderata delle varie attività previste, che consistono:
per le esercitazioni:
- prove di competenza sulle quattro abilità (produzione scritta, produzione orale, comprensione scritta, comprensione orale)
per le lezioni:
- prova scritta sui punti indicati nel Programma finale caricato su Moodle
- prova orale su due saggi critici a scelta tra quelli che saranno indicati nel Programma finale caricato su Moodle
Gli studenti si dovranno iscrivere alle prove SCRITTE E ORALI sul Sistema d'Ateneo (le iscrizioni terminano 5 giorni prima della data della prova: non saranno accettati studenti non iscritti). Le prove scritte sono propedeutiche alle prove orali.
ATTENZIONE: gli scritti sono validi per due sessioni d'esame, incluse le sessioni di aprile e dicembre: alla terza lo studente deve completare l'esame, altrimenti dovrà rifare tutto daccapo. Ovvero, se uno studente ha sostenuto una prova scritta nella sessione invernale (gennaio-febbraio) deve concludere l'esame con la rispettiva prova orale improrogabilmente entro la sessione autunnale seguente (settembre).
All the tests (written and oral) will be in Portuguese.
The final vote will be unique and will result from the weighted average of the various activities planned, which consist of:
for exercises:
- competence tests on the four skills (written production, oral production, written comprehension, oral comprehension)
for lessons:
- written test on the points indicated in the final programme uploaded on Moodle
- oral exam on two critical essays chosen from those that will be indicated in the final program uploaded on Moodle
Students must register for the WRITTEN AND ORAL tests on the University System (enrollment ends 5 days before the date of the exam; note: non-registered students will not be accepted). The written tests are preliminary to the oral tests.
ATTENTION: the writings are valid for two exam sessions, including december and april sessions: after that, the student must complete the exam, otherwise s/he will have to redo it all again. That is, if a student has taken a written test in the winter session (January-February) s/he must do the exam with the respective oral part no later than in the autumn session (September).

Gli studenti LET che eventualmente dovessero maturare solo 6 cfu sono pregati di contattare le docenti all'inzio del primo semestre, per concordare le attività.
NON È POSSIBILE SOSTENERE L'ESAME DI LINGUA PORTOGHESE 2 SENZA AVERE CONCLUSO E VERBALIZZATO L'ESAME DI LINGUA PORTOGHESE 1.
