Lo studente che frequenterà con successo il corso sarà in grado di acquisire una solida conoscenza delle principali problematiche legate ai brevetti farmaceutici. Acquisirà la conoscenza di come viene progettato un brevetto farmacologico e sarà in grado di analizzare e risolvere i problemi relativi alla scrittura dei brevetti.
The student who attends the course successfully will be able to acquire a sound knowledge of the main issues related to pharmaceutical patents. He or she will acquire the knowledge of how a pharmacetical patent is designed, and will be able to analyze and solve problems related to patents writing.
Esame orale.
- The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology. - During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression. - The student's ability to explain correctly the main topics presented during the course at the board will be assessed.
Ai fini della valutazione finale sarà apprezzata la capacità di elaborazione logica delle nozioni apprese nel corso.
For the purposes of the final evaluation, the logical processing capacity of the concepts learned in the course will be appreciated.
Nel corso dell'esame lo studente sarà stimolato a ragionare sulle nozioni apprese e collegare i vari argomenti.
During the exam the student will be stimulated to think about the concepts learned and to connect the various topics.
Sarà apprezzata la continuità nella frequenza alle lezioni.

Fornire una guida teorica e pratica per la brevettazione di farmaci, di formulazioni e di procedimenti tecnologici nel settore farmaceutico e biotecnologico. A tale scopo il corso si propone approfondire il contenuto delle leggi brevettuali italiane, europee e dei principali paesi industrializzati, delle procedure di brevettazione e di individuare le strategie da assumere in campo brevettuale anche attraverso l’analisi di esempi pratici delle diverse tipologie di brevetti farmaceutici e biotecnologici.
To provide a theoretical and practical guide to the patenting of pharmaceuticals, formulations and technological procedures in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields. To this end, the course aims to deepen the content of Italian, European and major industrialized patent laws, patenting procedures and identify the strategies to be adopted in the patent field also through the analysis of practical examples of the various types of pharmaceutical and biotechnological patents.
