Knowledge

Complex varieties
Definitions and examples of complex manifolds
Sheaves and cohomology
Geometry of complex manifolds
Hodge theory

This course will be taught in English. We will begin by reviewing the material on complex manifolds following the book by Kodaira and Morrow, and then study the Hodge theory following the book by Peters, Stefan Müller-Stach and Carlson.

Modalità di verifica delle conoscenze

Ci saranno compiti regolari. L'esame di fine corso consisterà in una breve tesi in italiano o in una breve presentazione in inglese.

Assessment criteria of knowledge

There will be regular homework. The final exam will consist of a short thesis in Italian or a short presentation in English.
