Il corso, in sinergia con le esercitazioni di lettorato, ha come obiettivo una conoscenza della lingua francese corrispondente al livello C1 del Quadro Europeo di Riferimento per le Lingue.
The course aims at the acquisition of communicative skills in French corresponding to C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
Regolari esercitazioni in classe, ricerche bibliografiche autonome o in gruppo.
Regular exercises in class, bibliographical research activities (as individual and cooperative works).
Al termine del corso, lo studente sarà capace di:
- identificare le tipologie dei NP;
- distinguere tra NP opachi e NP trasparenti;
- Effettuare derivazioni (lessicologia, morfologia); dedurre i valori semantici dei NP;
- Valutare la possibile traduzione dei NP nei discorsi, nei testi letterari e non.
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- use different kinds of linguistic and terminological resources (dictionaries, database, corpora...) for translation and learning in French;
- use several softwares for textual analysis and terminological extraction (TermoStat, AntConc, SketchEngine...);
- select documentary sources in order to build specialized corpora.
Il lavoro in classe sarà affiancato da attività sulla piattaforma E-learning.
Students will be asked to do complementary activities on E-learning platform.
Lo studente migliorerà le proprie capacità redazionali ed espositive in lingua francese.

Students will improve their writing and oral skills in French.
In seguito alle attività seminariali saranno richieste agli studenti delle brevi relazioni concernenti gli argomenti trattati
Following seminar activities, students will be requested to submit short reports concerning the topics discussed.
Il corso presuppone un livello di competenza linguistica B2 del QCER.
Students should have linguistic skills in French corresponding to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
Gli argomenti trattati durante il corso saranno:
Le NOM PROPRE (NP)
- Caractéristiques du signifiant du NP - Marques typographiques et phonologiques du NP ;
- Typologies du NP (anthroponymes, pseudonymes, hétéronymes etc.) ;
- Morphologie du NP ; NP simple et NP composé ; dérivations à partir d’un NP
- Sémantique du NP : les NP opaques et les NP transparents ;
- le NP modifié : antonomases, métaphores, synonymes (la France= l’Hexagone) ;
- Pragmatique et NP en discours : contexte énonciatif ; construction du sens, réseaux isotopiques autour des NP ; Problématiques de la traduction des NP
- Etudes de cas : le NP en littérature, le NP au cinéma, le NP en marketing (noms de marque); Problématiques en traduction
The course provides notions on the following subjects:
- word formation processes;
- an historical retrospective on French lexicography;
- theoric models developed for terminology;
- types of linguistic resources (lexicographical and terminological resources) in French and for translation;
- corpora;
- French phraseology;
- the analysis of terminology units of art as a specialized field.

La frequenza, seppur non obbligatoria, è fortemente consigliata. Gli studenti non frequentanti sono pregati di mettersi in contatto con la docente.
Attending the course is not compulsory. Non-attending students are invited to contact the teacher.
L'esame è composto da una prova scritta e da un colloquio orale. Ai fini della valutazione finale, sarà inoltre richiesto agli studenti un lavoro di ricerca personale.
The exam is made up of one written test and an oral exam. Furthermore, students will be asked to produce a personal research.
Gli ultimi 2 punti sulla traduzione dei NP (2 CFU) sono comuni al corso di LingTra (lingua francese 2) sul "Figement";
