Il Corso si costruirà sulla ricostruzione storica della diffusione della poesia italiana a partire dall’epoca petrina fino alla fine del XIX secolo. Esso si articolerà nelle seguenti parti:
- a) Introduzione alla storia della traduzione poetica in Russia;
- b) Tasso e il poema epico nella Russia del XVIII secolo;
- c) La poesia musicale italiana in Russia;
- c) Tra sentimentalismo e romanticismo. Il caso di Batjuškov;
- d) Il problema dell’equivalente metrico;
- e) Dante nelle traduzioni russe tra arcaismo e romanticismo;
- f) Puškin e la poesia italiana;
- g) Si può parlare di un petrarchismo russo?
- h) La poesia italiana del XIX secolo nella poesia russa.
- i) Dante e il modernismo russo.
The course will be built on the historical reconstruction of the spread of Italian poetry from the Petrine era to the end of the nineteenth century. It will be divided into the following parts:
- a) Introduction to the history of Poetic translation in Russia;
- b) Tasso and the Epic poem in 18th century Russia;
- c) Italian musical poetry in Russia;
- c) Between Sentimentalism and Romanticism. The case of Batjuškov;
- d) The problem of the metric equivalent;
- e) Dante in the Russian translations between Archaism and Romanticism;
- f) Pushkin and Italian poetry;
- g) Can we speak of a Russian Petrarchism?
- h) 19th century Italian poetry in Russian poetry.
- i) Dante and Russian modernism.

Students who are inable to attend the Course have to agree on a special program with the Lecturer
Ogni studente dovrà preparare una tesina nella quale analizzare una traduzione o imitazione di un testo poetico italiano nella poesia russa. La tesina sarà redatta in lingua russa.
Students are requested to present a short text devoted to the analysis of a translation or imitation of an Italian poetic texte in Russian poetry. The short text will be written in Russian.
