LABORATORIO MUSEIA B = 2° SEMESTRE
Il Laboratorio didattico MUSEIA (18 ore, 3 cfu), è tenuto in co-docenza dalla prof. Antonella Gioli e dalla assegnista di ricerca dott.ssa Sonia Lazzari e aperto a un massimo di 12 studenti iscritti a Scienze dei Beni Culturali-curriculum storico-artistico.

Il Laboratorio didattico ha come obiettivo di far acquisire agli studenti conoscenze e competenze nella comprensione dei diversi contesti museali attraverso l'analisi delle molteplici componenti costitutive: sede, raccolta, ordinamento, allestimento, gestione, comunicazione, caratteristiche istituzionali, ecc.
Gli obiettivi didattici saranno perseguiti attraverso un’impostazione laboratoriale che prevede visite, discussioni e seminari. Saranno svolte visite a 4 musei del territorio che richiederanno la partecipazione attiva dello studente nell’analisi del contesto museale in esame.
La parte finale del Laboratorio didattico sarà dedicata ai seminari svolti dagli studenti, che presenteranno l’analisi condotta autonomamente di un museo a loro scelta (diverso da quelli visitati nelle ore di Laboratorio).
Al termine del corso, gli studenti avranno acquisito conoscenze di base in merito a:
- le diverse tipologie di raccolte;
- le principali tipologie di ordinamento e le componenti dell'allestimento;
- le fondamentali missioni del museo e le diverse attività svolte per raggiungere gli obiettivi istituzionali;
- le diverse configurazioni istituzionali e le forme di gestione.
The MUSEIA didactic laboratory (18 hours, 3 credits), is held in co-teaching by prof. Antonella Gioli and the research fellow Dr. Martina Lerda and open to a maximum of 12 students enrolled in Cultural Heritage Sciences of the various curricula and years. The didactic laboratory aims to make students acquire knowledge and skills in understanding the different museum contexts through the analysis of the many constituent components: location, collection, arrangement, preparation, management, communication, institutional characteristics, etc. The educational objectives will be pursued through a laboratory setting that includes visits, discussions and seminars. Visits will be made to 4 local museums that will require the student's active participation in the analysis of the museum context in question. The final part of the didactic laboratory will be dedicated to the seminars carried out by the students, who will present the analysis conducted independently of a museum of their choice (different from those visited during the laboratory hours). At the end of the course, students will have acquired basic knowledge about: - the different types of collections; - the main types of arrangement and the components of the stand; - the fundamental missions of the museum and the various activities carried out to achieve institutional objectives; - the different institutional configurations and forms of management.

Al termine del corso, gli studenti avranno acquisito le seguenti capacità di base:
- saper analizzare la natura della sede museale e metterla in rapporto con le peculiarità dell’allestimento;
- saper individuare tipologie e consistenze che compongono la raccolta di un museo;
- saper riconoscere e analizzare criticamente le scelte relative all’ordinamento delle raccolte;
- saper riconoscere e analizzare criticamente le scelte e le principali caratteristiche dell’allestimento; (luci, soluzioni espositive, apparati informativi, ecc);
- saper analizzare scelte e prodotti di comunicazione e di promozione e le attività svolte dal museo;
- saper partecipare a brainstorming e discussioni;
- saper presentare criticamente un museo analizzato autonomamente in tutte le sue componenti e sottoporlo alla discussione in aula:
- saper esporre in modo rigoroso, efficace e sintetico i contenuti del seminario.
At the end of the course, students will have acquired the following basic skills:
- know how to analyze the nature of the museum and put it in relation to the peculiarities of the set-up;
- know how to identify the types and textures that make up the collection of a museum;
- knowing how to recognize and critically analyze the choices relating to the sorting of collections;
- knowing how to recognize and critically analyze the choices and the main features of the exhibition; (lights, display solutions, information systems, etc.);
- know how to analyze communication and promotion choices and products and the activities carried out by the museum;
- know how to participate in brainstorming and discussions;
- know how to present a museum critically analyzed independently in all its components and submit it for discussion in the classroom:
- know how to expose the contents of the seminar rigorously, effectively and concisely.

Il Laboratorio si articola in più incontri "in presenza", di cui il primo e l'ultimo in aula, gli altri presso musei.
L'ultimo incontro è destinato ai seminari con relazioni del lavoro svolto dagli studenti.
La frequenza è obbligatoria, con una assenza massima di circa il 20% (su 18 ore, 3 ore massime di assenza)
The Laboratory is divided into several meetings "in attendance", of which the first and the last in the classroom, the others at museums. The last meeting is intended for seminars with reports of students' work. Dato il carattere del Laboratorio, il suo programma è pensato per essere svolto interamente "in presenza".
Dopo una lezione introduttiva in aula, che imposterà le basi del lavoro e fornirà le coordinate essenziali per l’analisi del museo, gli incontri successivi si terranno presso altri musei del territorio, come ad esempio Museo Nazionale di San Matteo (Pisa), Esposizione permanente di Palazzo Blu (Pisa), Museo delle Sinopie (Pisa), Museo Civico Giiovanni Fattori (Livorno), Museo Diocesano di Massa. Durante le visite i musei saranno analizzati nelle diverse componenti costitutive: sede, raccolta, ordinamento, allestimento, gestione, comunicazione, caratteristiche istituzionali, ecc. Le visite richiederanno la partecipazione attiva dello studente alla discussione.
Gli studenti sono chiamati, individualmente o in coppia o a gruppi (fino a un massimo di 3 componenti), a individuare, visitare attentamente, studiare autonomamente un museo ed elaborare una relazione secondo una griglia di analisi e un tempo che saranno dati.
Tale relazione verrà presentata a docenti e altr studenti nel seminario a cui è dedicata l’ultima lezione in aula.
Given the character of the laboratory, its program is designed to be carried out entirely "in presence".
After an introductory lecture in the classroom, which will set the basis of the work and provide the essential coordinates for the analysis of the museum, subsequent meetings will be held at other museums in the area, such as the National Museum of San Matteo (Pisa), permanent exhibition of Palazzo Blu (Pisa), Sinopie Museum (Pisa), Giiovanni Fattori Civic Museum (Livorno), Diocesan Museum of Massa.
During the visits the museums will be analyzed in the different constituent components: headquarters, collection, arrangement, preparation, management, communication, institutional characteristics, etc. The visits will require the active participation of the student in the discussion.
Students are called, individually or in pairs or in groups (up to a maximum of 3 members), to identify, carefully visit, independently study a museum and draw up a report according to an analysis grid and a time that will be given.
This report will be presented to teachers and other students in the seminar to which the last classroom lesson is dedicated.

Il Laboratorio didattico MUSEIA si terrà anche nella seconda metà del 2° semestre con il seguente orario: venerdì 10.15-13.30 dal 22 aprile, aula PAO-E 1 (Aula Barone, Palazzo Carità, 1° piano, via Paoli 9).
Si ricorda che per visitare i musei sarà necessario possedere ed esibire la certificazione GREEN PASS.
E' necessario iscriversi al Laboratorio inviando DAL 1° al 30 GENNAIO un email alla dott.ssa Sonia Lazzari (s.lazzari@live.it) con oggetto “Iscrizione Laboratorio didattico Museia”.
Nella mail andranno indicati: anno di corso, eventuali corsi di ambito museologico ("Storia del collezionismo e del museo", "Museologia e museografia", "Comunicazione museale") seguiti e esami sostenuti (con voto).
In caso di iscrizioni superiori al numero massimo di 12 partecipanti, verrà fatta una selezione sulla base di anno di corso (priorità agli studenti degli anni più avanzati) e della frequenza o esame di corsi di ambito museologico.
The laboratory will be held in the 2nd semester, on days and times that will be communicated.
It is necessary to enroll in the Laboratory by sending a meail to martina.lerda@alice.it with the subject "Registration of the Didactic Laboratory Museia" by the date that will be indicated. The email must indicate: year of course, courses in the field of museums ("History of collecting and the museum", "Museology and museography", "Museum communication") followed and marks obtained in the exam, if already taken.
In case of enrollments exceeding the maximum number of 12 participants, a selection will be made on the basis of the year of the course (students of the more advanced years will be privileged) and of the courses in the museological field followed (students addressed in this area will be privileged).
