La scultura ellenistica
Il corso esplora i principali aspetti cronologici, geografici e stilistici della scultura greca di età ellenistica.
L’obiettivo del corso è l’acquisizione di una sicura conoscenza della scultura greca del periodo tra la fine del IV e il I secolo a.C., del suo sviluppo e dei maggiori centri di produzione. I partecipanti saranno guidati nell’approfondimento delle capacità di analisi e comprensione del materiale archeologico e della letteratura scientifica.
Hellenistic sculpture
This course explores the principal questions of the chronology, geography, and style of Greek sculpture during the Hellenistic period.
The primary goals of this course include a detailed knowledge of Greek sculpture from the late 4th to the 1st century BC, its development, and its main production centres. Participants will thus improve their skills in the analysis of artworks and critical reading of scientific literature.
