Conoscenza delle esperienze giuridiche dal basso medioevo fino alla codificazione. In particolare verranno prese in esame le origini dell'odierno sistema codicistico.
The knowledge of legal experiences since the Middle Ages until the codification. In particular, the origins of today's code system.
L'accertamento delle conoscenze avverrà tramite lo svolgimento di un esame orale.
The knowledge assessment will be made through oral examination.
Al termine del corso lo studente sarà in grado di procedere ad una apprezzabile analisi delle fonti del Diritto Comune e di porle nella opportuna correlazione con gli sviluppi del diritto vigente.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to make a remarkable analysis of the ius commune (roman and canon law) sources and to put them in proper relationship with the developments of the current law.
In sede di esame sarà valutata la capacità applicativa delle nozioni apprese durante l'insegnamento dagli studenti.
During the examination, the application abilities of the student, regarding what he learned by training, will be assessed.
Lo studente potrà acquisire e/o sviluppare sensibilità alle problematiche giuridiche trattate.
The student may acquire and develop awareness of the legal issues dealt with.
Durante i corsi potranno essere organizzate attività seminariali, al termine delle quali verrà richiesta una breve relazione srcitta/orale concernente gli argomenti trattati.
Throughout the courses there may be seminars, at the end of which, a brief oral or written report regarding the topics concerned, will be made.
E' raccomandata la conoscenza delle grandi linee della storia europea, dal medioevo all'età contemporanea, ricavabile dalla consultazione di un qualunque manuale di storia per le scuole superiori.
The knowledge of the broad outlines of European history from Middle Ages to contemporary age is required; the student can get it by consulting any secondary school history textbook.
Il corso intende, in primo luogo, fornire allo studente una serie di informazioni e di dati di riflessione sullo sviluppo del sistema di esperienza giuridica attivo sul territorio italiano ed europeo, a partire dal basso medioevo fino all'età contemporanea. Le lezioni si articoleranno, quindi, lungo un percorso che contemplerà sia l'esposizione dell'evoluzione storica degli ordinamenti normativi ed istituzionali succedutisi nel tempo, sia l'analisi delle origini dell'odierno sistema codicistico.
The course will first provide the student with a series of information and reflection data on the development of the active legal experience in Italy and in Europe, since the Middle Ages, to get on the threshold of the contemporary age. The lessons will be divided along a path which will include both the presentation of the historic evolution of legal and institutional systems that occurred over time, both the analysis of the origins of today's code system.

The preparation of the above texts is required for all students, without distinction between attending and non-attending students.
L'esame si svolgerà con prova orale. La prova orale consiste in un colloquio tra il candidato ed il docente, o anche tra il candidato e altri collaboratori del docente titolare. La prova orale non è superata se il candidato mostra di non aver compreso le nozioni fondamentali e/o non essere in grado di esprimersi in modo chiaro e di usare la terminologia corretta.
The examination will be oral. The oral examination won’t be passed if the applicant students show not to have understood the main concepts and not to be able to express themselves clearly and use the proper vocaboulary.
