Learning outcomes
Knowledge
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the Italian Constitution and the system of sources of law. He or she will be able to look critically at traditional issues of legislation and statutory interpretation, and will be able to demonstrate the connection between legislative drafting and social and economic issues
Assessment criteria of knowledge
The student will be assessed on his/her demonstrated ability to discuss the main course contents using the appropriate terminology and his/her ability to analyse a legislative act

Syllabus
The main subject of the course is the Italian constitutional system of sources of law and in particular the role of Parliament and Government in the legislative process. The course will focus on legislative drafting, regulatory impact, checklist and the best practices to ensure the regulatory fitness
