Al termine del corso, se lo studente avrà frequentato con assiduità (per almeno l'80%), impegno e serietà le lezioni, il laboratorio traduttivo (semestrali) e le esercitazioni linguistiche-Laboratorio DUPLE (annuali):
- avrà acquisito un livello di competenza strumentale di livello C1+/C2
- avrà acquisito le fondamenta per l'analisi linguistica su specifici aspetti
- avrà acquisito conoscenze relative a problematiche e strategie inerenti alla traduzione di testi, principalmente letterari.
At the end of the course, if the student has attended the course (for at least 80%) and has taken part in the course actively, has attended the translation workshop (half-yearly) and linguistic exercises - DUPLE Laboratory (annual):
- s/he will have acquired a level of instrumental competence at a C1 + / C2 level
- s/he will have acquired the foundations for linguistic analysis on specific aspects
- s/he will have acquired knowledge concerning issues and strategies concerning the translation of texts, mainly literary ones.
Le conoscenze sono verificate in itinere, attraverso attività di simulazione delle prove finali.
The knowledge is verified in itinere, through mock tests.
Al termine del corso, se lo studente avrà frequentato con assiduità (per almeno l'80%), impegno e serietà le lezioni, il laboratorio traduttivo (semestrali) e le esercitazioni linguistiche (annuali):
- conoscerà i fondamenti di temi di linguistica sincronia o diacronica nell'ambito del sistema lusofono
- conoscerà i principi generali della traduzione interlinguistica
- sarà in grado di leggere, scrivere, capire e parlare la lingua portoghese (livello C1+/C2) e saprà affrontare, qualora lo volesse, l'esame per la certificazione internazionale di portoghese elaborato dal CAPLE (Centro de Avaliação de Português Língua Estrangeira) di livello DUPLE (Diploma Universitário de Português Língua Estrangeira)
At the end of the course, if the student has attended the course (for at least 80%) and has taken part in the course actively, has attended the translation workshop (half-yearly) and linguistic exercises (annual):
- s/he will know the basics of synchronic or diachronic linguistics in the Lusophone system
- s/he will know the general principles of interlingual translation
- s/he will be able to read, write, understand and speak Portuguese (level C1 + / C2) and will be able to sit, if he wants, the exam for the international certificate of Portuguese issued by the CAPLE (Centro de Avaliação de Português Língua Estrangeira) at the DUPLE level (Diploma Universitário de Português Língua Estrangeira)

During the lessons, the translation laboratory and the exercises of the DUPLE Laboratory
- consolidation exercises (written and oral) will be conducted
- further activities will be carriedout autonomously by the student and will be corrected and commented on.
Se lo studente frequenta con assiduità (per almeno l'80%), impegno e serietà le lezioni, il laboratorio traduttivo (semestrali) e le esercitazioni (annuali):
- può acquisire metodo nell'apprendimento contrastivo delle lingue portoghese-italiano
- può acquisire consapevolezza riguardo a meccanismi traduttivi
- può acquisire sensibilità ermeneutica e linguistica rispetto all'analisi testuale

- s/he can become aware of translation mechanisms
- s/he can acquire hermeneutical and linguistic sensitivity compared to textual analysis

During the lessons, the translating laboratory and the DUPLE exercises the students will be asked to carry out activities aimed at applying the given structures to formulate hypothesis and conduct brief research on certain topics.
Lo studente deve possedere
- un livello di competenza linguistica pari o superiore almeno al livello B2+, visto che le lezioni del corso e le esercitazioni linguistiche saranno tenute in lingua portoghese
- dovrà avere concluso l'esame di Lingua portoghese I di livello Magistrale (per gli studenti di II anno), oppure, visto che il Laboratorio traduttivo è rivolto anche agli studenti di I anno, dovrà avere concluso gli esami di triennale
The student must possess a B2 +level of linguistic competence, given that the lessons of the course and the language exercises will be held in Portuguese.
S/he must have completed the Portuguese Language I degree-level examination (for second-year students), or, given that the Translating laboratory is also addressed to first-year students, s/he must have completed all three-year exams.

The lessons of the Course and the exercises of the DUPLE Laboratory
- will be held in Portuguese; they take place in the classroom, with the aid of audio and video materials proposed by the professors.

- The professors will make use of the Moodle platform for professor(s) / student interaction and sharing of materials distributed during lessons and exercises, bibliography or other materials difficult to find or for the autonomous exercise of skills

Para uma história da língua portuguesa do séc. XX
O curso tem por objectivo apresentar alguns aspectos da mudança linguística no português da primeira metade do séc. XX, a partir da análise da linguagem fílmica representada na chamada "Comédia à portuguesa" - uma série de filmes realizados durante o Estado Novo. Reflectir-se-á, pois, sobre a língua desse período, a partir da Reforma ortográfica de 1911, sobre os mecanismos próprios da oralidade, sobre a variedade diafásica, e sobre as problemáticas relativas à veiculação da ideologia salazarista. Parte das aulas, serão dedicadas à tradução audiovisual, com provas de legendagem dos filmes analisados.

Si lavorerà su testi contemporanei in prosa, perfezionando la competenza interpretativa, riflettendo su questioni inerenti a peculiari registri linguistici, frasi idiomatiche, lessici specialistici, e sulle strutture sintattiche e retoriche in prospettiva contrastiva.

Para uma história da língua portuguesa do séc. XX
O curso tem por objectivo apresentar alguns aspectos da mudança linguística no português da primeira metade do séc. XX, a partir da análise da linguagem fílmica representada na chamada "Comédia à portuguesa" - uma série de filmes realizados durante o Estado Novo. Reflectir-se-á, pois, sobre a língua desse período, a partir da Reforma ortográfica de 1911, sobre os mecanismos próprios da oralidade, sobre a variedade diafásica, e sobre as problemáticas relativas à veiculação da ideologia salazarista. Parte das aulas, serão dedicadas à tradução audiovisual, com provas de legendagem dos filmes analisados.

Translating laboratory
We will work on contemporary texts in prose, improving the student’s interpretative competence, by reflecting on issues related to particular linguistic registers, idiomatic phrases, specialized lexicons, and syntactic and rhetorical structures in a contrastive perspective.

Il voto finale sarà unico e risulterà dalla media ponderata delle varie attività previste, che consistono:
per le esercitazioni linguistiche (Laboratorio DUPLE:
- prove (scritte e orali) di competenza sulle quattro abilità (produzione scritta, produzione orale, comprensione scritta, comprensione orale)
per il Corso:
- elaborato scritto di approfondimento di un tema affrontato il corso e prova di sottotitolaggio di un brano di un film a scelta; l'elaborato e la presentazione del sottotitolaggio saranno da redigere in portoghese e da consegnare una settimana prima della data della prova orale
- discussione orale (in portoghese) del lavoro presentato e dei temi affrontati durante il corso
per il Laboratorio traduttivo
- traduzione in italiano di un brano assegnato, consegnare una settimana prima della data della prova orale
- elaborato critico-argomentativo (differente da Magistrale a Magistrale), da redigere in portoghese e consegnare una settimana prima della data della prova orale
- discussione orale (in portoghese) dei lavori scritti
The final vote will result from the weighted average of the various activities planned, which consist of:
for language tutorials - DUPLE Laboratory:
- evidence (written and oral) of competence in the four skills (written production, oral production, written comprehension, oral comprehension)
for the course:
- written in-depth study of a topic addressed in the course and evidence of subtitling of a piece of a film of your choice;
- the comment and presentation of the subtitling will be written in Portuguese and handed in one week before the date of the oral exam
- oral discussion (in Portuguese) of the work presented and the topics covered during the course
for the translation laboratory
- translation of an assigned piece into Italian, handed in a week before the date of the oral exam
- critical and argumentative assignment (different from Magistrale to Magistrale), to be written in Portuguese and handed in one week before the date of the oral exam oral discussion (in Portuguese) of the written works

Il Laboratorio traduttivo è rivolto agli studenti di I e II anno.
Si invitano gli studenti a iscriversi sulla piattaforma Moodle, sulla quale verranno caricati tutti i materiali distribuiti a lezione e anche il PROGRAMMA DEFINITIVO E COMPLETO da seguire per affrontare l'esame.

On September 24th 2018, at 12.00 pm, in Auletta at Palazzo Matteucci there will be a presentation of the teaching offer of Portuguese Language and Literature.
Beginning of translation workshop : 24 September 2018.
Course start : second semester (February 2019).
The translation laboratory is addressed to first and second-year students.
Students are invited to register on the Moodle platform , on which all the materials distributed in class and also the UPDATED AND COMPLETE PROGRAMME to be followed to face the exam will be loaded.
