Lo studente avrà acquisito conoscenze in merito: 1) agli strumenti e alle metodologie per l'analisi del testo letterario e della traduzione letteraria, 2) alla storia letteraria tedesca e all'evoluzione storica del rapporto che autori moderni e contemporanei intrattengono con il patrimonio mitologico e folclorico.
The student will have acquired knowledge about: 1) the tools and methodologies for the analysis of literary text and literary translation; 2) German literary history and the historical evolution of the relationship that modern and contemporary authors entertain with the mythological and folkloric heritage.
La verifica delle conoscenze sarà oggetto della valutazione della prova orale e dell'elaborato scritto propedeutico a essa.
- Academic progress will be verified during the final oral exam and from the written paper at the beginning of each exam session.
Lo studente potrà sviluppare sensibilità per l'analisi del testo letterario e svolgere in modo autonomo un'attività di approfondimento dell'argomento trattato e della sua contestualizzazione storico-letteraria.
The student will be able to develop sensibility for the analysis of the literary text and autonomously carry out an activity of deepening the subject matter and its historical-literary contextualization.
Lo studente dovrà presentare una relazione scritta che riporti i risultati dell'attività di progetto e sostenere una prova orale d'esame.
The student will present a written report showing the results of the project activity and take an oral exam.
Durante l'attività seminariale sarà valutato il grado di accuratezza e precisione dell'analisi di testi letterari.

In seguito alle attività seminariali saranno richieste agli studenti delle brevi relazioni concernenti gli argomenti trattati.

Buona conoscenza del tedesco e della storia della letteratura tedesca (con particolare riferimento al Romanticismo e al XX e XXI secolo).

Le lezioni saranno in parte frontali con l'aiuto di materiali forniti dalla docente, in parte di taglio seminariale con la creazione di gruppi di lavoro. Lingue: italiano e tedesco.
The lessons will be partly frontal with the help of materials provided by the teacher, in part of seminar cutting with the creation of working groups. Languages: Italian and German.
Labirinti, Minotauri, Barbablù: traduzioni, citazioni e riscritture di miti e fiabe nella letteratura moderna e contemporanea.
Fiabe, miti e mitologemi costituiscono un patrimonio culturale importante per la letteratura moderna e contemporanea di lingua tedesca, che vi ha attinto in modo diffuso e differenziato a seconda del periodo storico, dell'epoca letteraria, delle poetiche personali dei singoli autori. Nelle diverse tipologie di ricezione moderna, che vanno – per fare alcuni esempi – dalla traduzione all’adattamento, dalla citazione con valore strutturale e/o tematico al riferimento al mito quale «metafora assoluta» (Blumenberg), dalla correzione alla riscrittura, si riflettono non di rado molte delle ambivalenze del rapporto che la cultura secolarizzata intrattiene con il pensiero mitopoietico. Prendendo esemplarmente in esame la fortuna moderna e contemporanea dei motivi del labirinto, del Minotauro e di Barbablù, già messi in connessione tra loro nell’opera del belga Maeterlinck, il corso verte su questa pluralità di prospettive e offre uno spaccato significativo della letteratura di lingua tedesca. Particolare attenzione sarà rivolta a generi e stili di scrittura e al rapporto tra riscrittura del mito e storia. Alcune lezioni saranno inoltre dedicate nello specifico all’analisi delle prime traduzioni tedesche del testo di Perrault e alle questioni traduttologiche, oltre che letterarie, del fenomeno dell'intertestualità, come anche alle ripercussioni che il mitologema del labirinto ha avuto sulla scrittura letteraria post 1945 e alle implicazioni che ne conseguono in ottica traduttiva.
La docente metterà a disposizione le traduzioni ottocentesche della fiaba di Perrault e una selezione di testi lirici e di prose brevi, che verranno trattati a lezione e saranno oggetto di verifica in itinere. Per la prova d’esame si richiede inoltre la conoscenza approfondita dei testi elencati al punto 1 e al punto 2

Labyrinth, Minotaur, Bluebeard: translations, quotations and rewriting of myths and fairy tales in modern and contemporary literature.
Fairy tales, myths and mythologems constitute an important cultural heritage for modern and contemporary German-language literature. Many of the ambivalences characterising the relationship that secularized culture entertains with mythopoetic thought are reflected not infrequently in the different typologies of modern reception, which go - to give some examples - from translation to adaptation, from quotation with structural and / or thematic value to reference to mythologeme as to an "absolute metaphor" (Blumenberg), from correction of the myth to its rewriting. Examining the modern and contemporary fortune of the motives of the labyrinth, of the Minotaur and of Bluebeard, already connected to each other in the work of the Belgian Maeterlinck, the course focuses on this plurality of perspectives and offers a significant cross-section of the German-language literature. Particular attention will be paid to genres and styles of writing and to the relationship between rewriting myth and history. Some lessons will also be devoted specifically to: 1) the analysis of the first German translations of the text written by Perrault and to the importance of recognizing intertextuality in order to translate a text; 2) the repercussions that the mythologeme of the labyrinth had on literary writing post 1945 and the implications that derive in a translation perspective.
The teacher will provide the nineteenth-century translations of the fairy tale by Perrault and a selection of lyrical texts and short prose, which will be discussed in class and will be the subject of final verification. For the exam, it is also necessary to have a thorough knowledge of the texts listed in point 1 and point 2.

Gli studenti non frequentanti sono pregati di recarsi al ricevimento della docente per concordare un programma d'esame e l'argomento della relazione scritta.
Non-attending students are asked to go to the teacher's reception to arrange an exam program and the topic of the written report.
La prova d'esame consiste in una relazione scritta (max 15 pagine) e una prova orale.
The exam is made up of one written paper (max 15 pages) and one oral test.
