Attraverso l’analisi di alcuni testi rappresentativi gli studenti acquisiranno gli strumenti storico-letterari e metodologici di base per un approccio ai diversi aspetti del teatro comico francese del Sei-Settecento.
Through the analysis of some representative texts, students will acquire the basic historical-literary and methodological tools for an approach to the different aspects of the French comedy in seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
La verifica delle conoscenze sarà oggetto della valutazione di un elaborato scritto e di un esame orale.
By mutual agreement with the professor, the student must submit a written report on a subject related to the program (discussion of a topic, analysis of a text / track / scene) completed with an updated bibliography and drawn from the most significant bibliographic catalogues available . Besides during the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression.
Methods:
Durante il corso verranno forniti gli strumenti per analizzare il testo teatrale comico con particolare attenzione sia agli elementi formali sia a quelli tematici anche in relazione al loro contesto storico.
During the course tools will be provided to analyze comic theatrical text with particular attention to both the formal and the thematic elements also in relation to their historical context.
Si dovrà dimostrare di sapere analizzare in maniera critica il testo teatrale da un lato collocandolo nel suo contesto storico e dall'altro tenendo conto dei suoi aspetti formali e semantici.
It will be necessary to demonstrate to be able to critically analyze the theatrical text on one hand, placing it in its historical context and, on the other, taking into account its formal and semantic aspects.
Saranno acquisite opportune capacità di accuratezza e precisione nello svolgere attività di confronto e analisi del testo teatrale e in particolare quello comico.
Students will be acquire appropriate skills of accuracy and precision in carrying out activities of comparison and analysis of the play and especially the comic.
Nel corso delle lezioni si apprezzerà l'apporto personale degli studenti all'analisi e alla riflessione dei testi in programma.
During the activities the personal contribution of the students to the analysis and reflection of the texts will be appreciated.
Lo studente dovrà possedere una sufficiente conoscenza nell'ambito della letteratura francese, nonché la competenza linguistica adeguata alla lettura dei testi in lingua originale.
Student must have sufficient knowledge in French literature, as well as the linguistic ability to read texts in French.
ll corso verrà svolto in lingua francese anche con l'ausilio di supporti audio-visivi; agli studenti verrà richiesto di partecipare in maniera attiva alle lezioni con domande e riflessioni personali.

Nota: le relazioni corredate da bibliografia devono essere inviate alla docente 10 giorni prima della data dell'esame.
