Lo studente saprà riconoscere, classificare e riprodurre graficamente reperti ceramici, integri o in frammenti, relativi alle principali produzioni ceramiche etrusche, in particolar modo quelle di epoca ellenistica dell'Etruria settentrionale relative ai centri di Volterra e Pisa. Per ogni classe ceramica sarà fornito un inquadramento relativamente alle caratteristiche e alla diffusione.
Students will recognize, classify and draw ceramic finds related to the main Etruscan ceramic productions, dating in particular in the Hellenistic period and coming from sites of northern Etruria such as Volterra and Pisa. Each pottery class will be explained with regards to its characteristics and diffusion.
Durante le esercitazioni ad ogni studente verranno sottoposti dei frammenti ceramici etruschi da riconoscere, disegnare e schedare, per giungere alla fine alla loro classificazione. Le esercitazioni si svolgeranno sotto la guida del docente.
During the training course each student will be able to describe, draw and catalogue Etruscan ceramic fragments, in order to gain their recognition and classification, under the supervision of the teacher.
Lo studente sarà in grado di orientare correttamente un frammento ceramico etrusco e riconoscerne le caratteristiche principali per produrne la corretta classificazione. Saranno inoltre fornite le basi del disegno di reperti ceramici.
Students will be able to position correctly an Etruscan ceramic fragment and recognize its main characteristics to achieve its correct classification. The basics of the drawing of ceramic findings will also be provided.
Lo studente dovrà classificare e disegnare una serie di reperti ceramici, usando la corretta terminologia e i moderni sistemi di nomenclatura. Gli esercizi saranno corretti individualmente durante le esercitazioni.
Students will classify and draw some ceramic sherds, using ordinary terminology and modern nomenclature systems. Exercises will be corrected individually during the lessons.
Lo studente potrà apprezzare il disegno di materiale ceramico e acquisire una serie di conoscenze particolarmente utili soprattutto in occasione di attività sul campo, nel momento in cui verrà in contatto con i reperti mobili.
Students will be able to appreciate the skill of archaeological drawing and also to acquire some knowledge useful especially while doing field activities, during the work with pottery finds.
Durante le esercitazioni sarà valutata la precisione con cui verranno eseguiti i disegni dei reperti e realizzata la loro schedatura. Le nozioni teoriche acquisite saranno verificate attraverso un test finale di autovalutazione.
During practises teacher will evaluate the precision of the drawings and the classification of the ceramic sherds. Basic knowledge acquired will be verified through a final self-assessment test.
Aver sostenuto, o almeno frequentato, il corso di Etruscologia e archeologia italica I o II.
It is necessary to have taken, or at least attended, the course of Etruscology and Italic archeology I or II.
Le esercitazioni non costituiscono un prerequisito per esami succesivi.
This kind of exercises is not a requirement for other exams or activities.
Le esercitazioni, per un totale di 45 ore, si compongono di una breve parte teorica e una parte pratica, che prevede l’apprendimento delle nozioni di base di disegno di reperti mobili e delle norme di classificazione di materiali ceramici di epoca etrusca.
Exercises will last 45 hours, one or two times a week. They are made up of a short theoretical part and a practical part, which will provide the knowledge of the basic notions of drawing ceramic finds and classification systems to describe Etruscan ceramic materials.
Il laboratorio fornirà gli strumenti per l'apprendimento della terminologia e dei criteri di classificazione delle principali produzioni ceramiche etrusche tra l'epoca villanoviana e l'età ellenistica, prendendo in particolare considerazione il distretto dell'Etruria settentrionale e i centri di Volterra, Pisa e Populonia.
Lessons will provide tools for learning the terminology and classification criteria of the main Etruscan ceramic productions between the Villanovan and Hellenistic periods, taking into particular consideration the district of northern Etruria and the sites of ancient Volterra, Pisa and Populonia.

Non è possibile ottenere l'idoneità senza frequentare le esercitazioni di laboratorio.
It is not possible to carry out this activity without attending lessons.
Per ottenere l'idoneità gli studenti devono frequentare almeno due terzi delle ore previste (quindi almeno 30 ore).
Gli esercizi saranno corretti durante le lezioni. Alla fine del laboratorio è previsto un test per valutare il livello di apprendimento.
To take the final test, students must attend at least two thirds of the scheduled hours (i.e. 30 hours).
Exercises will be corrected and evaluated during the lessons. At the end of the activities a test is planned to assess the level of knowlwdge.
Le esercitazioni si svolgeranno nel secondo semestre nel Laboratorio di Archeologia situato in Piazza Facchini.
