Le basi complete dell’elettromagnetismo classico:
- Campi elettrostatici e magnetostatici
- Materiali elettrici e magnetici
- Correnti elettriche
- Induzione elttromagnetica
- Equazioni di Maxwell
Students are expected to acquire capability of analysis and knowledge of main characteristics of electrical circuits, electrical machines and power systems
In the oral exam, the student must demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and to organise an effective and correctly written reply.
Methods:
- Final oral exam
Apply circuit methods to the solution of electrical circuits Learn how to identify the main features of electric machines
Know how to find out the principles of electrical systems management and safety
- enunciare e spiegare argomenti trattati nelle lezioni ed esercitazioni;
- discutere la prova scritta effettuata o altre prove scritte assegnate in precedenza;
- risolvere problemi basati sugli argomenti oggetto del corso
During the oral exam, exercises and questions are asked to test the abilities
The student can acquire and develop sensitivity to the problems of electrical circuit analysis, electrical machines and the principles of management and safety of electrical systems
During the course are offered exercises and questions to test behaviors

Corrado Mencccini, Vittorio Silvestrini, "Fisica II. Elettromagnetismo e Ottica", Editore CEA
Raymond A. Serway, John W. Jewett, "Fisica per scienze e Ingegneria. Vol 2", Editore Edises
-
di leggere e studiare i testi suggeriti;
he written parts used by the classroom lecturer are saved in .pdf files and made available through the E-Iearning platform of the Engineering Pole (after enrollment in the course); Through the same platform is also released the additional material for deepening / expanding the topics discussed and communicating with the students.
- enunciare e spiegare argomenti trattati nelle lezioni ed esercitazioni;
- discutere la prova scritta effettuata o altre prove scritte assegnate in precedenza;
- risolvere problemi basati sugli argomenti oggetto del corso
Examination consists of an interview between the candidate and the teacher, or between the candidate and other lecturer members, typically on two or three topics related to the reference program. Talk time ranges from 20 to 40 minutes The test on the interview is over if the candidate demonstrates that he has no preparation gaps and is able to illustrate with due detail the subject matter as well as to grasp the different links with other areas of the course. It is also essential to use proper terminology. The test is definitely not over if the candidate is not able to express himself clearly, to use the correct terminology, or if the candidate does not answer the basic questions. The final vote thus takes into account both the preparation achieved by the candidate, the ability to analyze and solve problems, and the ability to express himself in an appropriate technical language.
