Gli studenti acquisiranno una visione generale dei principali temi di microeconomia e macroeconomia. Per quanto riguarda la microeconomia si studieranno i comportamenti delle imprese, dei consumatori e dei lavoratori nei rispettivi mercati. Per quanto riguarda la macroeconomia si analizzeranno la composizione del reddito nazionale, il modello reddito-spesa, il modello IS-LM, i principali strumenti di politica fiscale e monetaria ed i costi di inflazione e deflazione.
Students will acquire an overview of the main themes of microeconomics and macroeconomics. As regards the microeconomics, the behavior of businesses, consumers and workers in their respective markets will be studied. As regards macroeconomics, the composition of national income, the income-expenditure model, the IS-LM model, the main fiscal and monetary policy instruments and the costs of inflation and deflation will be analyzed.
L’accertamento delle capacità avverrà in sede di esame finale. L'esame è scritto.
Al termine del corso gli studenti avranno acquisito gli strumenti di base dell’analisi microeconomica (domanda, offerta, elasticità, mercato del lavoro, etc.) e sapranno interpretare i principali fenomeni macroeconomici (disoccupazione, inflazione, debito pubblico, politiche fiscali e monetarie, ecc.).
At the end of the course students will have acquired the basic tools of microeconomic analysis (demand, supply, elasticity, labor market, etc.) and will be able to interpret the main macroeconomic phenomena (unemployment, inflation, public debt, fiscal and monetary policies, etc.).
Gli studenti frequentanti hanno la possibilità di scrivere una tesina da concordare col docente che dovrà essere presentata oralmente di fronte alla classe alla fine del corso. La presentazione della tesina conferirà fino a tre punti da sommare al voto d'esame.
NOTA BENE: I PUNTI AGGIUNTIVI DELLA TESINA SONO VALIDI SOLO SE PARTECIPA ATTIVAMENTE AL PROGETTO SPECIALE PER LA DIDATTICA "CORSO DI ARTE ORATORIA" (QUATTRO INCONTRI IN TOTALE) E SE SI SOSTIENE L'ESAME AL PRIMO APPELLO.
Attending students have the option of writing a paper to be presented orally in the classroom at the end of the course. The essay will be evaluated up to a maximum of three points to be added to the mark of the written exam.
NOTE: THE ADDITIONAL POINTS OF THE THESIS ARE VALID ONLY IF YOU ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THE SPECIAL PROJECT FOR TEACHING "COURSE OF PUBLIC SPEAKING" (FOUR MEETINGS IN TOTAL) AND IF YOU TAKE THE EXAM AT THE FIRST ROUND.
Gli studenti saranno in grado di confrontare le principali teorie economiche e comprendere le conseguenze delle principali politiche micro e macroeconomiche.
Students will be able to compare major economic theories and understand the consequences of major micro and macroeconomic policies.
La verifica potrà avvenire nel corso della discussione in classe riguardanti i temi trattati nel corso.
The verification can take place during the discussion in class regarding the topics covered in the course.

Il corso di Economia Politica costituisce un prerequisito per gli esami successivi di Economia Industriale ed Economia del Vino.
The Political Economy course is a prerequisite for the subsequent exams of Industrial Economics and Wine Economics.
Lezioni ed esercitazioni in aula. Durante le lezioni verranno spiegate le teorie economiche mentre nelle esercitazioni verrano risolti alcuni semplici esercizi di matematica applicati all'economia.
I lucidi forniti dalla casa editrice, che sono molto sintentici, saranno pubblicati sulla pagina Moodle del corso. I lucidi proiettati durante le lezioni, invece, non verranno condivisi. Si suggerisce vivamente agli studenti di prendere appunti con carta e penna poiché è dimostrato scientificamente che l'apprendimento e la resa agli esami ne beneficiano. Chi si limita a studiare sui lucidi solitamente non supera l'esame.
Ricevimento studenti: on line via MS Teams. Gli studenti sono invitati ad inviare preventivamente una mail al docente per fissare un appuntamento allegando l'elenco delle domande.
Lectures and exercises in the classroom. During the lessons economic theories will be explained while in the exercises some simple mathematical exercises applied to economics will be solved.
The slides provided by the publisher, which are very synthetic, will be published on the Moodle page of the course. The slides projected during the lessons, instead, will not be shared. Students are strongly advised to take notes with pen and paper as it is scientifically proven that learning and exam performance benefit. Those who limit themselves to studying on the slides usually do not pass the exam.
Office hours: online via MS Teams. Students are invited to send an email to the teacher in advance to make an appointment, attaching the list of questions.

Esame da 9 e 10 CFU
L'esame è scritto, consta di 5 domande e dura 60 minuti. Ognuna delle cinque domande vale 6 punti. Rispondete in modo esaustivo, sfruttate tutto lo spazio a disposizione, non limitatevi a risposte sbrigative di due righe. Risposte corrette ma poco approfondite riceveranno un punteggio inferiore. Grafici e formule sono più che ben accetti. Se la domanda inizia con "Dire se è VERO o FALSO e spiegare perché", iniziate la risposta scrivendo "VERO" oppure "FALSO". Suggerimento: partite dalle domande delle quali conoscete le risposte.
Esame da 6 CFU
Chi deve sostenere un esame parziale (da 6 CFU) deve rispondere solo alle tre domande relative al proprio programma ridotto (la microeconomia) e deve lasciare l’aula dopo 35 anziché 60 minuti.
ESAME DA 3 CFU: in questo caso l'esame sarà orale. Contattare il docente via email per concordare data ed ora.
Il giudizio è espresso in trentesimi.
9 and 10 CFU exam
The exam is written, consists of 5 questions and takes 60 minutes. Answer exhaustively, take advantage of all the space available, do not limit yourself to barry responses of two lines. Correct but not very detailed answers will receive a lower score. Graphics and formulas are more than welcome. If the question begins with "say if it is true or false and explain why", start the answer by writing "true" or "false". Tip: games from the questions you know the answers.
6 CFU exam
Those who have to take a partial exam (6 CFU) are required to answer only the three questions relating to their reduced program (microeconomics) and must leave the classroom after 35 instead of 60 minutes.
3 CFU EXAM
In this case the exam will be oral. Contact the teacher by email to agree on the date and time.
The judgment is expressed out of thirty.
