Al termine del corso lo studente avrà appreso:
- cosa è un bilancio d’esercizio
- quali sono le forme societarie ed i principali titoli di credito
- quali sono le differenti tipologie di costi
- come si valuta un investimento
- quali sono le strutture organizzative
- cosa è un modello di business e come si costruisce
At the end of the course the student will have learnt about:
- balance sheets
- firm types and main types of debt securities
- types of costs recognised by firms
- capital budgeting
- business processes
- business models
L’esame è composto da un test valutativo, da svolgersi online, e dalla discussione di un project work.
Il test copre i contenuti dei moduli I, III e IV, mentre il project work copre i contenuti dei moduli I, II e III.
Per prova d’esame si intende l’insieme di test + discussione project work. Le due parti possono essere svolte in forma disgiunta: lo studente può sostenere il test e, successivamente, discutere il project work (presentazione di gruppo), oppure presentare il project work e svolgere il test in appelli successivi.
N.B. I 6cfu di Economia e Organizzazione Aziendale dovranno essere conseguiti e verbalizzati entro un anno solare dal superamento del test o del project work: in caso contrario, lo studente perde automaticamente l’esito del test o del project work.
Il mancato superamento del project work richiede l’assegnazione di un nuovo progetto.
In caso di esito positivo del test (i.e. valutazione > 18/30), la presentazione ad un test successivo implica l’annullamento della valutazione positiva conseguita in precedenza.
Qualora lo studente intendesse non presentarsi alla prova è invitato a cancellare l’iscrizione, tramite il portale Valutami. Questo permetterà di evitare ritardi nell’inizio della prova, a beneficio del lavoro di docente e studenti.
The knowledge gained will be assessed through an oral exam, which includes the presentation of a team project, carried out during every exam session and preceded by a multiple-choice screening test.
Al termine del corso lo studente sarà in grado di:
- Sapere leggere un bilancio d’esercizio
- Conoscere le forme societarie e i principali titoli di credito
- Saper individuare le differenti tipologie di costi e conoscerne i comportamenti
- Sapere valutare un investimento, individuando i relativi flussi di cassa e applicando le metodologie più opportune per attualizzare il loro valore
- Saper riconoscere le principali strutture organizzative
- Sapere costruire e valutare la coerenza di un modello di business aziendale
By the end of the course:
- Students will know how to read a balance sheet and income statement
- Students will be able to conduct a financial analysis
- Students will be able to identify main governance structures for companies
- Students will be able to identify and classify main cost concepts
- Students will be able to idenify main organization structures
- Students will be able to evaluate investments through capital budgeting, identifying the relevant cash flow and applying the most appropriate methodologies to discount their value
- Students will be able to identify business processes and will understand the main principles of business process management
- Students will be able to map and evaluate the internal coherency of a business model
Nel corso di ogni modulo saranno svolte esercitazioni e brevi quiz.
Per l'accertamento delle capacità saranno svolti incontri tra il docente ed i gruppi di studenti che sviluppano i progetti.
At the end of each module a series of exercises will be carried out as well as short quizzes.
In addition, the instructors will meet the students that are working on the team projects to evaluate their work.
Il lavoro di gruppo permetterà allo studente di applicare da subito le conoscenze apprese nei moduli e di imparare a gestire responsabilità di conduzione di un team di progetto.
Working in a team will enable students to immediately apply the knowledge they have acquired during the modelus and to learn to manage resposibilities related to managing teamwork in a project setting.
Durante il lavoro di gruppo sono verificate le modalità di definizione delle responsabilità, di gestione e organizzazione delle fasi progettuali.
During the group project, the evaluation will include the organisation of responsibilities, the management of the workload and the planning of the project phases.

Il docente utilizza un tablet pc, con applicazione per scrivere/disegnare, il cui contenuto verrà condiviso in tempo reale in aula.
Come repository viene utilizzato Moodle dell'insegnamento.
Per i ricevimenti viene utilizzato Microsoft Teams 116II ECONOMIA E ORGANIZZAZIONE AZIENDALE [IFO-L] a.a. 2022/23.
The instructors use a tablet with an application to write/draw, whose contents are projected in real-time during the classroom lectures. The repository for all teaching materials is the MS Teams platform.

The procedure for non-attending students is the one indicated above for those not participaing in the team project.
L’esame è composto da un test valutativo, da svolgersi online, e dalla discussione di un project work.

Il test è composto da un numero di quesiti variabile tra 20 e 30 in funzione del tempo richiesto per lo svolgimento. I quesiti del test riguardano i moduli I (Bilancio e Analisi), III (Governance) e IV (Investimenti).
Tempo di svolgimento del test: sarà comunicato dal docente dopo l’appello e prima dell’inizio del test e tiene conto del numero e difficoltà delle domande. Si accede al test con notebook/PC/tablet, tramite il link attivo limitatamente alla durata della prova e comunicato dal docente al momento dell'esame.

Il superamento del test consente l’accesso al colloquio orale, che verterà sul project work.
La soglia di superamento del test è un punteggio pari a 18.
La validità del test è pari ad un anno solare.
La prova orale consiste nello svolgimento e discussione di un Project Work, elaborato in gruppo da 3 studenti, avente ad oggetto un’impresa assegnata dal docente e per la quale si dovranno sviluppare i contenuti forniti nei Moduli I, II (Modelli di business) e III.
La prova orale dovrà essere sostenuta entro 1 anno solare dal superamento del test.
Il Project Work dovrà essere consegnato e discusso in corrispondenza dell’appello di esame al quale ciascun gruppo intende partecipare. Il materiale da consegnare è indicato nelle linee guida fornite dal docente al momento del lancio dei progetti.
Ad ogni appello, ciascun gruppo avrà a disposizione 30 minuti per presentare i risultati del lavoro sul canale esame orale EOA, a cui seguiranno domande dei docenti, rivolte ai singoli membri del gruppo.
È possibile consegnare e discutere il progetto anche se ancora non è stato superato il test. In questo caso, il test dovrà essere superato entro 1 anno solare dalla discussione del project work.
EXAM PROCEDURE STEMING FROM COVID-19 EMERGENCY
The exam consists of an online screening test, followed by an oral exam.
Please Note: The 6 credits for Economia e Organizzazione Aziendale will have to be obtained and registered within one solar year from the successful screening: following this, the screening test results will expire.
Each student can participate in 4 exam sessions per year (from June to February). An exam session (in the COVID-19 scenario) is a combination of test and oral exam. The screening test on its own does not constitute an entire exam and therefore does not contribute to the count of the 4 sessions.
If the oral exam results in a fail grade, the student will have to repeat the screening test also.
If the student decides not to attend an exam session for which he/she is registered, he/she is invited to cancel the registration through the SID platform, to ensure a better exam plan for instructors and fellow students.
The exam will be conducted through the Microsoft Teams platform: for the screening test the student will have to use the web version of Teams whereas for the oral exam both the desktop and web applciation can be used.
- SCREENING TEST
The test is composed of between 20 and 30 questions and an adjusted time for copletion based on this number. The questions are relative to the modules on the Balance Sheet and Capitl Budgeting.
Time available: It will be communicated at every session by the instructor after the roll call and before starting the test. It will take into accoun the number and the difficulty of the questions. The test can be accessed through Notebook/PC/Tables, through the link that will be communicated inside the Team TEST EOA, which will be activated only for the duration of the test.

Passing the test unlocks access to the oral exam which will follow the entire course program.
A pass in the screening test is achieved by correctly answering at least 70% of the questions.
The screening test results will be valid for up to a solar year.
- ORAL EXAM
The toral exam will have to be passed within a solar year from a successful screening test. It can be conducted with or without the participation to a team project
Team Project
The student who opt for this possibility will be divided into groups of maximum 4 students (by the second week of class) and will be assigned a project covering all aspects of the course material. The results of the team project will be handed in and discussed within the framework of one of the exam sessions, to which each group can choose to participate. The mtaerial to be produced is indicated in the guidelines provided by the instructors at project launch.
At every exam session, each participating group will have 30 minutes to present their work, through the Teams channel ESAME ORALE EOA, following which there will be a Q&A session from the instructors to single group participants.
Without Team Project
This exam procedure is applicable to all students who have not indicated, by the deadline, that they wish to participate in a team project.
The oral exam will last an average of 20 minutes, in the course of which candidates will be asked questions on all modules of the course. The students may be asked to draw graphs, exaplin formulas, and execute short exercises of the same type that are found in the exercise manual.

Si invita, inoltre, lo studente a tenere un comportamento attivo, leggendo le comunicazioni ufficiali pubblicate dal docente sul sito Moodle dell’insegnamento Economia e Organizzazione Aziendale 2023.
In considerazione dell’elevato numero di studenti (circa 200 iscritti) è da scoraggiare l’invio di mail diretto a richiedere informazioni che si trovano già pubblicate sul team dell'insegnamento.

Students are invited to adopt a proactive attitude, reading the official communications that are published by the instructors on theMS Teams site of the the 2021 Economia e Organizzazione Aziendale course (each student is responsible for signing up to the Teams page so as to receive notifications of news automatically from the system via email).
Considering the large number of students instructors ask to verify the information available in MS Teams before sending individual questions by email.
