Conoscenze

Knowledge

By the end of the course, students will have acquired knowledge of the main methodologies for teaching German as a foreign language, with a focus on the Italophone and multilingual context in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). They will also be able to design teaching units in the field of German as a second/foreign language (DAF) (teaching German language, literature and civilisation), having acquired awareness of the learning processes and acquisition sequences of German, also from a contrastive perspective with Italian. Finally, the students will become familiar with the application of new multimedia technologies (ICT) to the teaching of German.

Assessment criteria of knowledge

The examination test consists of a written report (in german language) which examines a topic from the perspective of the topics covered in the course. Before writing, the student is required to agree on the subject of the report with one of the teachers of the course. The report is preparatory to the oral interview which will focus on the contents of the three modules.

Members of the commission: Prof. M. Foschi, Prof. S. Grazzini, Prof. M. Hepp.

Capacità

Lo studente sarà in grado:

- di svolgere un'analisi autonoma dei materiali disponibili relativi alla didattica della lingua e della letteratura tedesca;

- di costruire unità didattiche pluridisciplinari e in lingua tedesca anche con l’ausilio delle nuove tecnologie;

- di presentare in una relazione scritta (in lingua tedesca) i risultati dell'attività progettuale svolta;

Skills

The student will be able to:

- to carry out an independent analysis of available materials relating to the didactics of German language and literature;

- to construct multidisciplinary teaching units in German also with the aid of new technologies;

- to present the results of their project work in a written report (in German);

- to work in collaboration with others and to develop problem solving skills.
