LINGUA STRUMENTALE (corsi di lettorato/esercitazioni tenuti da Regina Pereira da Silva e Ana Luiza
Oliveira de Souza): il corso ha come obiettivo il raggiungimento del livello A2 di competenza
strumentale della lingua, stabilito dal Quadro Comune Europeo di Riferimento per le Lingue
(QCER). Le lezioni frontali con i docenti, unitamente all’esercitazioni scritte e orali svolte dai
collaboratori ed esperti linguistici (Instituto Camões e CLI), offriranno alle studentesse e agli
studenti gli strumenti per acquisire, perfezionare e potenziare le competenze linguistiche e
comunicative previste per il livello indicato. Il corso prevede l’apprendimento del portoghese nelle
sue varietà europea (PE) e brasiliana (PB).
CORSO DEI DOCENTI (Monica Lupetti, Matteo Migliorelli: acquisizione degli strumenti di base per la
riflessione metalinguistica sul sistema lusofono e sulle sue variazioni, in particolare sugli assi
diatopico, diastratico e diacronico.
Instrumental language classes (Regina Pereira da Silva and Ana Luiza Oliveira de Souza). The course aims to achieve the A2 level of instrumental language proficiency, established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Written and oral exercises with collaborators and linguistic experts (Instituto Camões and CLI), will provide students with the tools to acquire, perfect and enhance the linguistic and communicative skills required for the level indicated. The course includes the learning of Portuguese in its European (PE) and Brazilian (PB) varieties.
Course (Monica Lupetti and Matteo Migliorelli): acquisition of the basic tools for metalinguistic reflection on the Lusophone system and its variations, particularly on the diatopic, diastratic and diachronic axes.
LINGUA STRUMENTALE (lettorato/esercitazioni). Per l'accertamento delle conoscenze:
saranno assegnati esercizi da svolgere in autonomia o collettivamente durante il periodo di lezione;
possesso delle certificazioni DEPLE o CELPE-BRAS conseguite da non più di due anni.
CORSO DEI DOCENTI
saranno messe a disposizione sulle piattaforme dedicate esercitazioni di rafforzamento da svolgere
in autonomia.
Instrumental language classes: (lectures/exercises). For the ascertainment of knowledge:
- exercises will be assigned to be carried out independently or collectively during the class period;
- possession of DEPLE or Celpe-Bras certifications obtained no more than two years ago.
Course:
- reinforcement exercises to be carried out independently will be made available on dedicated platforms.
Al termine del corso lo studente:
sarà in grado di leggere, scrivere, capire e parlare la lingua portoghese (livello A2) nelle sue due
varietà principali;
saprà come la lingua portoghese si è evoluta nel tempo e come varia nello spazio, tra le classi
sociali e nei diversi contesti comunicativi;
conoscerà la fonetica articolatoria del portoghese europeo e di quello brasiliano (impiegando
l’alfabeto IPA) e sarà capace di analizzare fonemi, morfemi, parole e relazioni lessicali.
At the end of the course the student:
- will be able to read, write, understand and speak Portuguese (level A2) in its two main varieties;
- know how the Portuguese language has evolved over time and how it varies in space, between social classes and in different communicative contexts;
- will know the articulatory phonetics of European and Brazilian Portuguese (using the IPA alphabet) and will be able to analyse phonemes, morphemes, words and lexical relationships.
Durante le lezioni e le esercitazioni:
saranno svolti esercizi di consolidamento (scritti e orali);
saranno proposte attività di applicazione delle strutture presentate;
saranno corretti e commentati gli esercizi svolti in autonomia.
During the lessons and exercises:
- consolidation exercises (written and oral) will be carried out;
- application activities of the structures presented will be proposed;
- exercises carried out independently will be corrected and commented on.
Il raggiungimento del livello di competenza strumentale A2 e l'acquisizione delle conoscenze e
capacità previste per questo corso permetteranno allo studente e alla studentessa di analizzare, per
mezzo di un approccio descrittivo scientifico, strutture linguistiche di vari gradi di complessità,
mediante l’uso di una terminologia specialistica pertinente. La combinazione di tali conoscenze e
competenze fornirà le basi necessarie per le successive annualità della disciplina erogate all’interno
del Corso di Laurea.
The attainment of instrumental competence level A2 and the acquisition of the knowledge and skills required for this course will enable the student to analyse linguistic structures of varying degrees of complexity by means of a descriptive scientific approach, using relevant specialist terminology. The combination of these knowledge and skills will provide the necessary basis for the subsequent years of the discipline delivered within the degree programme.
Durante le esercitazioni e le lezioni gli studenti saranno chiamati:
a svolgere attività applicative delle strutture date;
a formulare ipotesi;
a svolgere brevi ricerche su determinati argomenti.
During the exercises and lectures, students will be required:
- to carry out application activities of the given structures
- to formulate hypotheses
- to carry out brief research on certain topics.
Conoscenza di base della grammatica, dell’ortografia, della morfologia italiane per una descrizione
scientifica basata sulla lingua materna.
Basic knowledge of Italian grammar, spelling, morphology for a scientific description based on the mother tongue.
È vivamente consigliata la frequenza dei corsi di lingua strumentale per migliorare e sostenere la
competenza linguistica (lettorati/esercitazioni di lingua portoghese, varietà europea (PE) e varietà
brasiliana (PB)).
Attendance at instrumental language courses to improve and support language competence (lectures/exercises in Portuguese language, European variety (PE) and Brazilian variety (PB)) is highly recommended.
Questo insegnamento costituisce un requisito obbligatorio per le successive due annualità di Lingua
e Traduzione Portoghese e Brasiliana (II e III).
This teaching is a compulsory requirement for the next two years of Portuguese and Brazilian Language and Translation (II and III).
Le lezioni istituzionali (Monica Lupetti, Matteo Migliorelli) saranno tenute in italiano, mentre i
lettorati/le esercitazioni (Regina Pereira da Silva e Ana Luiza Souza) in lingua portoghese.
Le lezioni si svolgono in aula, con l'ausilio di materiali video (slides) e audio e di manuali didattici
per l'apprendimento del portoghese come lingua straniera (PLE). Si ricorrerà all’uso della
piattaforma Moodle per l'interazione docente/studente, spazio in cui saranno condivisi i materiali
distribuiti durante le lettorati/le esercitazioni, la bibliografia e altri materiali di supporto. I docenti e
i collaboratori esperti linguistici stabiliranno i propri ricevimenti presenziali/a distanza e li
comunicheranno agli studenti a inizio semestre.
The course (Monica Lupetti, Matteo Migliorelli) will be given in Italian, while the instrumental language classe (Regina Pereira da Silva and Ana Luiza Oliveira de Souza) in Portuguese.
Lessons will be held in the classroom, with the aid of video (slides) and audio materials and didactic manuals for learning Portuguese as a foreign language (PLE). Use will be made of the Moodle platform for teacher/student interaction, a space where the materials distributed during the lectures/exercises, bibliography and other support materials will be shared. Professors and collaborators and language experts will establish their presencial/distance student reception and communicate them to students at the beginning of the semester.
Il corso è rivolto agli studenti di tutti i curricula della laurea triennale in Lingue e Letterature Straniere e della laurea triennale in Lettere Moderne. Il corso costituisce un’introduzione a vari aspetti della lingua portoghese. Ha il duplice obiettivo condurre gli studenti all'acquisizione della lingua dal livello di competenza principiante assoluto fino al livello A2 e di fornire, al contempo, gli elementi di base per la riflessione metalinguistica su diversi piani del sistema PE e PB. Il corso si articolerà in due moduli (corso istituzionale tenuto da Monica Lupetti e Matteo Migliorelli) + corso di lettorato (esercitazioni in PE e PB tenute da Regina Pereira da Silva e da Ana Luiza Oliveira de Souza):
- Storia della lingua (Matteo Migliorelli, I semestre, 3 lezioni a settimana, 18 ore, 3 cfu): il modulo propone una riflessione sul sistema linguistico portoghese dal punto di vista storico/tipologico, durante la quale saranno illustrate alcune tappe rilevanti della storia del Portogallo e dei paesi di lingua portoghese. Saranno affrontati, inoltre, temi relativi alla grammaticografia e alla lessicografia lusofone, attraverso un avvicinamento a testi metalinguistici cardine. Saranno introdotti, infine, i fondamenti della filologia romanza, e illustrate – privilegiando un approccio diacronico, ma non escludendone altri – le varietà del portoghese brasiliano, africano e asiatico.
- Linguistica portoghese e brasiliana (elementi di sociolinguistica, di fonetica e di morfologia, Monica Lupetti, I semestre, 3 lezioni a settimana, 36 ore, 6 cfu): il modulo si concentrerà su questioni legate alla struttura morfologica delle parole (processi flessivi, derivazionali e di composizione), alle parti del discorso (nome, verbo, aggettivo ecc.) e a questioni di ordine lessicale ed etimologico; alla fonetica e fonologia e alla rappresentazione grafica dei suoni del portoghese; infine, a concetti generali e specifici di politica linguistica, variazione geo-linguistica, sociolinguistica e creolistica.
- Lettorato di portoghese europeo DEPLE e Lettorato di portoghese brasiliano (annuale, I e II semestre, 3 esercitazioni a settimana): mirando all'acquisizione delle capacità comunicative di base, durante le esercitazioni saranno trattate strutture morfologiche e sintattiche elementari e questioni lessicali e semantiche relative alle due principali varietà d’uso. Le docenti si alterneranno nell’insegnamento potenziando le quattro le abilità linguistiche richieste dal QECR.
This course is aimed at students in all curricula of the three-year degree programme in Foreign Languages and Literature and the three-year degree programme in Modern Literature. The course is an introduction to various aspects of the Portuguese language. It has the dual objective of leading students to the acquisition of the language from the absolute beginner's level of proficiency up to level A2 and of providing, at the same time, the basic elements for metalinguistic reflection on different levels of the PE and PB system. The course will be divided into two modules (institutional course taught by Monica Lupetti and Matteo Migliorelli) + instrumental language classe (exercises in PE and PB taught by Regina Pereira da Silva and Ana Luiza Oliveira de Souza):
- History of Language (Matteo Migliorelli, 1st semester, 3 lessons per week, 18 hours, 3 cfu): the module proposes a reflection on the Portuguese language system from a historical/typological point of view, during which some relevant stages in the history of Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries will be illustrated. Furthermore, topics related to Lusophone grammar and lexicography will be addressed, through an approach to key metalinguistic texts. Finally, the fundamentals of Romance philology will be introduced, and the varieties of Brazilian, African and Asian Portuguese will be illustrated - favouring a diachronic approach, but not excluding others.
- Portuguese and Brazilian Linguistics (elements of sociolinguistics, phonetics and morphology, Monica Lupetti, I semester, 3 lessons per week, 36 hours, 6 cfu): the module will focus on issues related to the morphological structure of words (inflectional, derivational and compound processes), the parts of speech (noun, verb, adjective, etc.) and lexical and etymological issues; phonetics and phonology and the graphic representation of Portuguese sounds; finally, general and specific concepts of language policy, geo-linguistic variation, geo-linguistic variation, and the graphic representation of Portuguese sounds) and lexical and etymological issues; phonetics and phonology and the graphic representation of Portuguese sounds; finally, general and specific concepts of linguistic policy, geo-linguistic variation, sociolinguistics and creolistics
- Instrumental language classes in European Portuguese DEPLE and in Brazilian Portuguese (annual, 1st and 2nd semester, 3 exercises per week): Aiming at the acquisition of basic communicative skills, elementary morphological and syntactic structures and lexical and semantic issues relating to the two main varieties of usage will be dealt with during the exercises. The teachers will take turns in teaching, reinforcing the four language skills required by the CEFR.

Per i non frequentanti il programma è uguale a quello da frequentanti.
For non-attending students, the syllabus is the same as for attending students. In any case, students who decide not to attend the course are advised to contact the professor (Monica Lupetti) as soon as possible to arrange a reception.
Il voto finale sarà unico e risulterà dalla media approssimativa delle varie attività previste, che consistono:
- per il corso istituzionale: 1 prova in itinere scritta (non obbligatoria) di storia della lingua e 2 prove in itinere scritte (non obbligatorie) di linguistica portoghese e brasiliana. A fine corso lo studente e la studentessa che avrà superato le tre prove scritte potranno accedere all’esame orale finale. Chi non sosterrà le prove in itinere o non le supererà con esito positivo, dovrà optare per l’esame scritto globale sui contenuti dell’intero corso istituzionale, per poi accedere all’esame orale. Ulteriori dettagli saranno forniti durante il corso e il ricevimento.
- per i corsi di lettorato sono previste una prova scritta e una prova orale. I lettorati hanno durata annuale, dunque sarà possibile svolgere le suddette prove solo a partire dall’appello estivo. Attenzione: gli appelli estivi del lettorato sono 2 (giugno e luglio); quelli del corso istituzionale sono 3 (2 a giugno, 1 a luglio). L’appello autunnale (settembre) è uno in entrambi i casi.
Gli studenti si dovranno iscrivere alle prove SCRITTE e ORALI sulla piattaforma Valutami (le iscrizioni terminano 5 giorni prima della data di ciascuna prova).
Le valutazioni di ogni parte dell’esame hanno validità di un anno.
The final and single vote will result from the approximate average of the various planned activities, which consist of:
- for the course: 1 written test (non-mandatory) in itinere test on the history of the language and 2 written tests (non-mandatory) in itinere tests on Portuguese and Brazilian linguistics. At the end of the course, the student who passes the three written in itinere tests will be eligible for the final oral test. Those who do not take the in itinere tests or do not pass them successfully will have to opt for the global written test on the contents of the entire course, and will then have access to the oral test. Further details will be provided during the course and student reception.
- A written test and an oral test are scheduled for the For the Instrumental language classes. For the Instrumental language classes have a one-year duration, so it will only be possible to take these tests from the summer call. Please note: there are 2 summer call for the lectureship (June and July); there are 3 for the course (2 in June, 1 in July). The autumn call (September) is one in both cases.
Students must register for the WRITTEN and ORAL tests on the Valutami platform (registration ends 5 days before the date of each test).
Notes
The assessments of each part of the examination are valid for one year.

Le lezioni di Lingua portoghese I (prof.ssa Monica Lupetti, dott. Matteo Migliorelli) si terranno nei seguenti giorni:

Le lezioni iniziano il 19 settembre (prof.ssa Monica Lupetti).
Dal 26 settembre subentrerà il dottor Matteo Migliorelli, per 3 settimane (stessi orari e stesse aule indicate sopra). Poi il corso continuerà con la prof.ssa Monica Lupetti fino a dicembre.
Per il Lettorato sono previste tre lezioni a settimana, tenute dalla docente di PB (= portoghese brasiliano), prof.ssa Ana Luiza Souza, e dalla docente di PE (= portoghese europeo), prof.ssa Regina Pereira da Silva.

La prof.ssa Ana Luiza Souza inizierà il suo corso lunedì 18; la prof.ssa Regina Pereira da Silva inizierà dalla settimana successiva, il 26 settembre (quindi mercoledì 20 non ci sarà lezione di lettorato PE).
