Obiettivi di apprendimento
Conoscenze
Con il supporto di materiali audiovisivi, saggi teatrali e testimonianze dirette, il corso fornirà conoscenze intorno al tema della regia teatrale. Il tema sarà affrontato dalla sua nascita alle esperienze storiche più significative dei grandi maestri della scena che, con il loro lavoro, hanno trasformato la storia stessa della cultura teatrale: il regista come autore della rivoluzione teatrale del '900.
Knowledge
The student who completes the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of the history of theatre direction; he or she will develop an awareness of examples taken from contemporary age and will be able to present his/her studies to the colleagues in a structured way.

Le materia affrontate saranno oggetto di verifica nel corso dell'esame orale conclusivo.
Assessment criteria of knowledge
During the oral exam the student must be able to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression.
The student must demonstrate the ability to put into practice and to execute, with critical awareness, the activities illustrated or carried out under the guidance of the teacher during the course.

Capacità
Sarà fondamentale l'aspetto pratico e applicativo dei temi trattati, in particolare per quanto riguarda la formulazione di progetti registici.

Sono previste esercitazioni pratiche nel corso dell'anno accademico.

Gli studenti saranno stimolati a produrre ed esprimere idee applicabili nella pratica teatrale.

Le esercitazioni pratiche in itinere e l'esame orale conclusivo serviranno a verificare i comportamenti.

Syllabus
The course aims to examine some important cases of theatre direction. In addition to these theoretical elements there will be an applied part of the course, in which students will be asked to make practical exercises in order to draw up a direction project. Special attention will be paid to themes such as the direction of the actors, the setting and the problem of representation.

Modalità d'esame
La prova orale consiste in un colloquio tra il candidato e il docente, o anche tra il candidato e altri collaboratori del docente titolare.

Le lezioni si svolgeranno nel primo semestre, ogni mercoledì, a partire dal 26 ottobre, nell'aula G4 del Polo Guidotti.
