Lo studente potrà acquisire conoscenze relative:
(i) a modelli della comunicazione linguistica e non linguistica;
(ii) al ruolo della comunicazione nella gestione dei conflitti;
(iii) al ruolo della comunicazione nelle organizzazioni.
The student of philosophy will acquire knowledge about:
(i) the analytic philosophy of language and its historical development;
(ii) the current philosophical and epistemological debate on determination of the levels of meaning both in semantics and in pragmatics and their relevance for the understanding of the nature of language, meaning and communication;
(iii) the current debate on the truth-functional conception of meaning and the classical distinction between semantics and pragmatics.
The student of DISCO will acquire knowledge about:
(j) models for the analysis of linguistic and non-linguistic communication;
(jj) the role of communication in conflict resolution;
(jjj) the role of communication in organizations.
Per l'accertamento delle conoscenze lo studente dovrà sostenere una prova orale.
During the oral exam the student of Philosophy will give a powerpoint presentation of one of the relevant thematic aspect discussed in the course.
Lo studente sarà orientato sia alla capacità di comprendere i modelli e le tipologie principali della comunicazione che ad affinare quella di interrogare flussi, strutture e conflitti di natura comunicativa soprattutto a livello di organizzazioni.
The student of Philosophy will be guided both to understand of the central role of language in contemporary philosophical thought and to improve his/her ability to analyze a philosophical paper.
The student of DISCO will be guided both to understand the main sorts of communication and their models and to improve of the ability to analyze communicative streams, structures and conflicts expecially in the context of organizations.
Lo studente svolgerà una ricerca sul campo e presenterà una relazione su un tema di comunicazione relativo al suo territorio di provenienza.
The student of Philosophy will write a small commentary of a classic paper in contemporary philosophy of language.
The student of DISCO will carry out a field research and will present a report on a topic about communication (public, social or enterprise) relatively to his/her area of origin.
Lo studente potrà acquisire maggiore familiarità con il requisito fondamentale della personalità comunicativa professionale, la capacità di ascolto.
The student of Philosophy will become more familiar with the requirements of a scientifically adequate philosophical research.
The student of DISCO will becom more familiar with the fundamental requirement of the professional communicative personality, namely listening ability.
Parte della letteratura in lingua inglese e preparazione di elaborati costituiscono elementi per verificare l'acquisizione di una maggiore familiarità con i requisiti richiesti per una comprensione e/o produzione scientifica e/o una professionalizzazione di portata internazionale.
The fact that part of the bibliography of the course is in English and the fact that students are required to prepare papers during the course allow to assess the acquisition on their part of the familiarity with the scientific understanding/production and the ability to internationally professionalize.
Non sono richieste particolari propedeuticità. Naturalmente una conoscenza anche di base della psicologia e/o linguistica può agevolare il percorso formativo.

B. Teorie dei conflitti: analisi dei conflitti, teoria dei giochi, reframing e trasformazione dei conflitti.
C. Teorie delle organizzazioni: dal management scientifico, alle relazioni umane, all'approccio funzionalista e alla CCO (Communication Constitutes Organization).

3. One among the books that will be indicated by the teacher during the course about the theory of communication, communication in organizations, transformation of conflicts.
L'esame è costituito da una prova orale nella quale lo studente sarà a colloquio con il docente e un suo collaboratore. La prova orale è avviata dalla discussione della relazione già presentata su un tema di rilevanza comunicativa concordato con il docente. Segue poi un colloquio relativo alle conoscenza acquisite dallo studente sui testi d'esame e l'eventuale bibliografia di contorno.
The exam is oral. The student will be examined by the teacher and his assistant.
For the student of Philosophy the colloquium will start with (1) the discussion of the paper presented by the student and (2) the power point presentation on one of the relevant themes of the course. The rest of the colloquium will assess the student's knowledge of the course bibliography.
