Al termine del corso, lo studente avrà acquisito conoscenze generali relative all'arte greca, con riferimento in particolare all'architettura, alla scultura in bronzo e in marmo, alla pittura vascolare
At the end of the course, the student will have acquired general knowledge of Greek art, with a particular emphasis on architecture, bronze and marble sculpture, vase painting

ARTE GRECA
Il corso esplora i principali aspetti cronologici, geografici e stilistici dell'arte greca.
L’obiettivo del corso è l’acquisizione di nozioni relative agli aspetti fondamentali dell'arte greca dal periodo arcaico al periodo ellenistico, al suo sviluppo e ai maggiori centri di produzione. I partecipanti saranno guidati nell’approfondimento delle capacità di analisi e comprensione del materiale archeologico e della letteratura scientifica.
GREEK ART
This course provides a survey of Greek art focusing on questions of chronology, geography, and style.
The primary goals of this course include a working knowledge of Greek art from the Archaic to the Hellenistic period, its development, and its main production centres. Participants will thus improve their skills in the analysis of artworks and critical reading of scientific literature.
