Attraverso questo corso lo studente potrà acquisire conoscenze sugli aspetti fondamentali della democrazia greca e sui suoi rapporti con le moderne democrazie.

At the end of the course the student will be able to acquire knowledge of the fundamental aspects of Greek democracy and its relations with modern democracies.

Atene e la democrazia.

Fondamenti, dinamiche sociali ed economiche, alternative politiche e teoriche illuminano i caratteri 

della democrazia ateniese e permettono un confronto con le moderne democrazie.

Syllabus

 

Athens and democracy. Fundamentals, social and economic dynamics, political and theoretical alternatives will be able to illuminate the main characters of Athenian democracy and to allow a confrontation with modern democracies

Modalità d'esame

L'esame consiste in una prova orale in cui il candidato risponderà sugli argomenti svolti a lezione e sulla bibliografia di riferimento e farà una sintesi finale del seminario tenuto durante il corso.

 

Assessment methods

 

The exam consists of an oral exam in which the candidate will answer the lecture topics and the reference bibliography and will make a final synthesis of the seminar held during the course.

Note

Gli studenti interessati a seguire il corso sono pregati di contattare il docente entro la prima settimana di ottobre, per stabilire tempestivamente argomenti e calendario dei seminari ai fini di una congrua preparazione.

Le lezioni avranno inizio martedì 26 Settembre 2017 con il seguente orario:

Martedì,    ore 8.30-10.00, aula Ricci 5;

Mercoledì, ore 8.30-10.00, aula Ricci 5.

Ricevimento: Lunedi, ore 12-13 (studio docente,via Dei Mille, 19).

Students interested to attend the course are invited to contact the teacher by the first week of October in order to fix timely the seminars topics and to have time enough for an appropriate preparation.
