Lo studente potrà acquisire la capacità di scrivere testi professionali e scientifici in lingua italiana. In particolare, potrà acquisire la capacità di scrivere testi strutturati, con note e bibliografia.

The student will be able to acquire the ability to write professional and scientific texts in Italian. In particular, he/she will acquire the ability to write structured texts with notes and bibliography.

La capacità di scrivere testi professionali e scientifici in lingua italiana sarà verificata attraverso la stesura di uno o più testi di questo tipo.
The ability to write professional and scientific texts in Italian will be tested by writing one or more such texts.
Buona conoscenza della lingua italiana scritta. Agli studenti che non hanno seguito un percorso scolastico di 13 anni in Italia sarà applicata una scala di valutazione diversa, basata sul livello iniziale di conoscenza dell'italiano.
Good knowledge of written Italian. Students who do not have completed a 13-years school track in Italy will be judged on a different scale, according to their starting knowledge of written Italian.
Può essere utile (ma non è obbligatorio) seguire, in parallelo al Laboratorio, un corso di Linguistica italiana.
It may be useful (but is not compulsory) to take a course in Italian Linguistics in parallel with the Workshop.
Il corso non costituisce un prerequisito per studi successivi. Tuttavia, le competenze acquisite sono utili in diversi tipi di corso e nella stesura dell'elaborato finale del corso di laurea.
The course does not constitute a prerequisite for subsequent studies. However, the skills acquired are useful in various types of courses and in writing the final dissertation for the degree course.
Il corso affronta i concetti di base della comunicazione testuale presentandoli in modo orientato alla pratica, secondo i criteri dell’Educazione linguistica democratica. Le attività svolte introducono alla scrittura professionale.
Il corso è tenuto attraverso lezioni frontali, in italiano, con correzione guidata del lavoro finale.
La lingua del corso è l'italiano.
The course addresses the basic concepts of textual communication by presenting them in a practice-oriented manner, in accordance with the criteria of Democratic Language Education. The activities performed introduce professional writing.
The course is taught through lectures, in Italian, with guided correction of the final work.
The language of the course is Italian.
Il corso è dedicato alla presentazione delle basi teoriche e pratiche della scrittura professionale e scientifica in lingua italiana. I principali aspetti trattati sono:
- chiarezza e comprensibilità nella scrittura
- vincoli nella scrittura per Internet
- suddivisione dei testi complessi in sezioni
- ricerca di informazioni attraverso biblioteche e cataloghi di biblioteca
- creazione di note e bibliografie
- preparazione delle relazioni e delle presentazioni per la laurea triennale
- scrittura attraverso sistemi di intelligenza artificiale

The course covers the basic writing techniques for professional writing in Italian. The main topics included are:
- criteria for writing texts that are both clear and easy to understand
- issues and problems in Internet writing
- techniques to divide complex texts
- information search through libraries and library catalogs
- creation of notes and bibliographies
- preparations of essays and presentations for the final examination of the degree program
- writing using Artificial Intelligence tools

Per i frequentanti, il laboratorio non ha testi d'esame: sono sufficienti i materiali presentati a lezione, tra cui le diapositive del corso. La bibliografia presentata di seguito è quindi solo una lista di testi utili ad approfondire gli argomenti trattati a lezione.

I non frequentanti dovranno studiare e portare all'esame i testi indicati ai punti 3 e 5 (v. Modalità d'esame).
No mandatory readings are assigned to attending students. For those students, the following bibliography is an optional reading list for further study.

Non-attending students must study the books 3 and 5 and discuss them during the oral examination (see Assessment methods).
Il corso richiederà lo svolgimento, in aula e a distanza, di esercizi in preparazione della prova finale. Saranno considerati frequentanti gli studenti che consegneranno in modo soddisfacente almeno l’80% degli esercizi assegnati durante il corso.
Chi non può frequentare può comunque sostenere l’esame aggiungendo al programma per frequentanti:
- Lo studio dei due testi obbligatori per non frequentanti indicati nella sezione Bibliografia
- La recensione, di 5 pagine di lunghezza, di un saggio in volume da concordare con il docente (la recensione dovrà seguire alcuni vincoli, che saranno indicati di volta in volta, sul pubblico di destinazione e sul taglio complessivo).
I non frequentanti dovranno inoltre sostenere un colloquio sui testi indicati (punto 1) e sulla recensione (punto 2).
Attenzione! Anche i non frequentanti devono studiare i materiali presentati durante il corso, incluse le diapositive usate a lezione. Questi materiali comprendono anche indicazioni pratiche sullo svolgimento dei lavori.
Inoltre, anche i non frequentanti devono scrivere i testi espositivi richiesti ai frequentanti.
The course will require exercises, both in class and outside class, in preparation for the final exam. Students who will satisfactorily deliver at least 80% of the exercises assigned during the course will be considered attending students.
Non-attending students can still take the exam by adding to the program for attending students:
- The study of the two compulsory texts for non-attending students indicated in the Bibliography section
- The writing of a 5-pages review of an essay in volume that will be chosen with the teacher (the review will have to follow some constraints, which will be indicated at the time of the choosing, on the target audience and on the overall setup of the text).
Non-attending students must also discuss during the oral exam both the two compulsory texts (point 1) and the review (point 2).
Moreover, even non-attending students must write the expository texts requested to the attending students.
La prova finale include la pubblicazione di uno più testi espositivi in lingua italiana.
L’esame consiste nella discussione di uno o più testi espositivi (lunghezza complessiva indicativa: 5 pagine a stampa) realizzati dal candidato su un argomento a piacere. La discussione dovrà essere accompagnata da una presentazione di 5 minuti con il supporto di 5 diapositive su videoproiettore.
Le modalità dettagliate di pubblicazione saranno presentate durante il corso.
The final examination includes the publication of one or more expository texts in Italian.
The examination consists of the discussion of one or more expository texts (indicative total length: 5 printed pages) written by the candidate on a topic of his/her choice. The discussion must be accompanied by a 5-minute presentation supported by 5 slides on a video projector. Detailed arrangements for publication will be presented during the course.
