Alla fine del corso i/le discenti avranno acquisito conoscenze approfondite relativamente a 1)le forme complesse del comico nella letteratura germanofona moderna e contemporanea, 2) come cambia il rapporto tra letteratura e storia dal Settecento a oggi 3) strumenti e metodologie per l'analisi stilistica del testo letterario.
At the end of the course the students will have acquired in-depth knowledge of the complex forms of the comic in modern and contemporary German-speaking literature, of how the relationship between literature and history has changed from the eighteenth century to today, of tools and methodologies for the stylistic analysis of the text literary.
La verifica delle conoscenze sarà oggetto della prova orale finale e dell’elaborato scritto propedeutico a essa.
The verification of knowledge will be the subject of the final oral test and the preparatory written test.
Il/La discente potrà affinare la propria sensibilità per l’analisi stilistica del testo che saprà inoltre contestualizzare da un punto di vista storico-letterario e storico-culturale. Oltre a rafforzare le proprie capacità argomentative in forma sia orale che scritta, potrà sviluppare la capacità di lavorare in gruppo e di esporre in modo organico e coerente i risultati del proprio lavoro di approfondimento.
The learner will be able to refine their sensitivity for the stylistic analysis of the text which they will be able to contextualize from a historical-literary and historical-cultural point of view. In addition to strengthening their argumentative skills in both oral and written form, they will be able to develop the ability to work in groups and to present the results of their in-depth work in an organic and coherent way.
In conformità con gli obiettivi del progetto CECIL (Progetto del Centro di Eccellenza per il Contrasto all'impoverimento linguistico), la verifica delle capacità avverrà sia in itinere tramite relazione orale e partecipazione alla discussione seminariale, sia a fine corso tramite elaborato scritto e prova orale finale.
In accordance with the objectives of the CECIL project of excellence, the verification of skills will take place both during the course through an oral report and participation in the seminar discussion, and at the end of the course through a written paper and a final oral exam.
Lo studente/la studentessa avrà acquisito accuratezza e precisone nello svolgere un lavoro di analisi linguistico-letteraria del testo e di approfondimento storico-culturale. Saprà inoltre lavorare sia in gruppo che in autonomia.
The student will have acquired accuracy and precision in carrying out a work of linguistic-literary analysis of the text and historical-cultural study. He will also be able to work both in groups and independently.
La verifica dei comportamenti avverrà tramite la discussione in classe, in dialogo con la docente e gli altri studenti, e tramite la relazione orale e la prova finale (relazione scritta e prova orale).
The verification of behaviors will take place through discussion in class, in dialogue with the teacher and the other students, and through the oral report and the final exam (written report and oral exam).

E' fortemente consigliata la frequenza dei corsi di lettorato di tedesco.
Il corso sarà suddiviso in lezioni di tipo sia frontale che seminariale e si terrà prevalentemente in lingua tedesca.
Tra riso e pianto: le forme complesse del comico nella letteratura di lingua tedesca.
Il corso è dedicato all’intreccio tra genere comico e genere tragico e alla commistione tra i registri linguistici della comicità e della serietà nella letteratura di lingua tedesca dallo Sturm und Drang a oggi. Particolare attenzione sarà dedicata alla letteratura novecentesca, i cui protagonisti assomigliano sempre più all’uomo comune, nel quale insicurezza e fragilità sono accostate a ostinatezza e caparbietà nel rapporto con il mondo, dando origine a contraddizioni e contrasti spesso comici. La trasfigurazione poetica, che ancora alla fine dell’Ottocento costituiva il programma estetico principale della letteratura realista e si realizzava non da ultimo per mezzo dell’umorismo, si rivela via per lo più impraticabile nel secolo successivo, caratterizzato dai drammi delle guerre di massa, poi dal ‘fluidificarsi’ di punti di riferimento stabili in ambito sociale, politico, economico e culturale. Prevalgono le contraddizioni, le soluzioni di emergenza, le piccole e grandi astuzie, le psicosi del quotidiano, che hanno aperto al comico letterario vastissime possibilità. La selezione dei testi permetterà di riflettere su questo complesso di temi, come anche sull’importante ruolo della lingua come veicolo di forme complesse di comicità.

Between laughter and tears: the complex forms of comicity in modern and contemporary German-speaking literature.
The course is dedicated to the intertwining of the comic genre and the tragic genre and to the mingling of the comic and serious linguistic registers in German-language literature from Sturm und Drang up to today. Particular attention will be paid to twentieth-century production, whose protagonists increasingly resemble the common man, in which insecurity and fragility are combined with stubbornness in their relationship with the world, giving rise to often comical contradictions and contrasts. Poetic transfiguration, which still constituted the main aesthetic program of realist literature at the end of the 19th century and was achieved not least through humor, proved to be largely impracticable in the following century, characterized by the dramas of mass wars, then from the 'fluidification' in part sought in part immediately, of stable points of reference in the social, political, economic and cultural fields. Contradictions prevail, emergency solutions, small and large ruses, the psychoses of everyday life, which have opened up vast possibilities to the literary comedian. The selection of the texts analyzed in the course will allow to reflect on these themes, as well as on the important role that the literary language as a vehicle for complex forms the comic and the serious. La prova d'esame consiste in una relazione scritta (ca. 15 pagine) e una prova orale. La relazione scritta, propedeutica alla prova orale, deve essere consegnata almeno 15 giorni prima della data d'appello.
The exam consists of a written report (about 15 pages) and an oral exam. The written report, preparatory to the oral exam, must be delivered at least 15 days before the date of the appeal.
