A good acquaintance with the history of Russian literature
Il Corso sarà dedicato a "Questioni di semantica del verso russo (sec. XVIII-XX)" e si articolerà nelle seguenti parti:
a) Introduzione alla storia del verso russo;
b) I metri e le misure sillabo-toniche;
c) Il rapporto tra metro e genere in prospettiva storico-poetica (Classicismo, Romanticismo, Realismo, Modernismo);
d) La questione delle "aureole semantiche";
e) Il "Russian Method": Problemi di analisi statistico-quantitativa del verso e sua applicazione nello studio della semantica del verso.
The Course is devoted to the Questions of Semantics of Russian Verse (XVIII-XX centuries) and will be carried out in the following phases:
a) Introduction to the History of Russian Verse;
b) syllabo-tonic meters;
c) the relationships between meter and genre in a historical poetical perspective (Classicism, Romanticism, Realism and Modernism);
d) The question of the "Semantic aureoles";
e) The Russian Method. Problems of statistical analysis of Verse and its application in the Semantics of Verse.

Ogni studente dovrà preparare una tesina nella quale analizzare un testo poetico a propria scelta. L'analisi sarà dedicata sia agli aspetti puramente formali del testo (metro, ritmo, strofica, rima), sia a quelli tematico-interpretativi. La tesina sarà redatta in lingua russa.
Students are requested to present a short text devoted to the analysis of a poetical work of his choosing.The analysis will concern both the formal aspects of the text (meter, rhythm, strophe, ryme) and the thematic ones. The short text will be written in Russian.
