SOCIOLOGIA URBANA: Gli studenti che completeranno con successo il corso saranno in grado di dimostrare una solida conoscenza delle principali teorie e prospettive di ricerca della sociologia urbana.
TECNICA URBANISTICA 2:
Conoscenze di dettaglio del processo pianificatorio, dalla fase sovraurbana fino alla scala infraurbana, e degli aspetti tecnici relativi alla pianificazione urbanistica:
- zoning, indici e standard edilizi e urbanistici;
- distanze fra fabbricati;
- categorie dell'intervento sul patrimonio edilizio esistente;
- titoli abilitativi agli interventi edilizi;
- esproprio e determinazione dell'indennità;
- tipologie edilizie e loro rapporto con la morfologia urbana;
- fattibilità economica delle previsioni urbanistiche;
- modi e tecniche di perequazione e compensazione;
- città compatta ed espansione urbana a bassa densità
Conoscenza di base dei fondamentali principi e modelli di geografia urbana e di analisi urbanistica:
- principio di agglomerazione;
- principio di accessibilità;
- principio di interazione spaziale;
- principio di competitività;
- principio di gerarchia;
- approccio percettivo e analisi configurazionale.
Conoscenze di tecniche e norme di progettazione delle infrastrutture stradali in ambito urbano
URBAN SOCIOLOGY: The students who complete the course successfully will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of the main theories and research perspectives in urban sociology.
TOWN PLANNING 2:
The student who successfully completes the course will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of planning processes and procedures in Italy, from a regional scale down to an infra-urban scale, including rules and procedures for working out town plans and projects. Besides, he will be able to demonstrate advanced and deep knowledge of technical aspects of town planning, including sizing and shaping of urban spaces, blocks, streets and intersections. Furthermore, he will be aware of the main territorial modelling approaches, from the early interactional models up to the recent techniques of spatial analysis. A wide set of exercises on the different issues of the course are expected to severely train the student to usefully apply the learnt subjects.

Prova scritta di esame consistente nella soluzione di un esercizio mediante i modelli e le tecniche di analisi urbana e territoriale.

URBAN SOCIOLOGY - The knowledge acquired will be assessed through an oral examination.
TOWN PLANNING 2:
The student will be assessed on his/her knowledge :
- during the final written exam, to solve an exercise and to provide a precise answer to the submitted question;
- during the oral exam, to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression
SOCIOLOGIA URBANA: Lo studente avrà una solida comprensione della complessità che caratterizza lo spazio urbano nell’epoca della globalizzazione
TECNICA URBANISTICA 2:
Capacità di utilizzare le conoscenze di tecnica urbanistica nella redazione individuale (o a piccoli gruppi) di uno strumento urbanistico attuativo, alla scala infraurbana, su un'area assegnata, consistente nell'analisi del contesto e nella produzione di tutti gli elaborati tecnici di progetto, qui di seguito elencati:
- Planimetria di localizzazione
- Planimetria di progetto di Piano
- Tavola dei fili fissi
- Planimetria di lottizzazione
- Tipologie edilizie e profili regolatori
- Verifica del rispetto degli standard
- Relazione tecnica illustrativa
- Norme Tecniche di Attuazione
URBAN SOCIOLOGY - The student who completes the course have a solid understanding of the complexities of urban space in the global context
TOWN PLANNING 2:
The student who successfully completes the course will be capable to approach and carry on infra-urban plans and projects, from the analysis of the territorial context and regulations up to the working out of complete and correct project documents and design specification

TECNICA URBANISTICA 2:
Valutazione della esercitazione individuale di approfondimento tematico su una tematica di interesse territoriale. Valutazione della correttezza tecnica e della qualità progettuale del Piano Attuativo redatto, preliminare alla prova di esame, e sua successiva discussione nella presentazione durante la prova orale.
URBAN SOCIOLOGY - The skills will be verified through the analysis of texts, discussions and seminars
TOWN PLANNING :
The student will be assessed on his/her ability:
- during his/her individual project work: to develop a town plan at infra-urban scale upon an assigned case study, working out the basic graphic documents and written papers;
- during the oral exam, to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the course material and be able to discuss the reading matter thoughtfully and with propriety of expression
SOCIOLOGIA URBANA - Lo studente avrà la capacità di esaminare lo sviluppo delle città in prospettiva globale
TECNICA URBANISTICA 2:
Frequenza obbligatoria alle ore di Laboratorio, da utilizzare per la redazione degli elaborati progettuali dell'esercitazione individuale
URBAN SOCIOLOGY - The student who completes the course will be able to examine the development of cities from a global perspective
TOWN PLANNING 2:
The compulsary course attendance to the Laboratory, for the working out of the individual projects, is required as a precondition

URBAN SOCIOLOGY - The assessment of behaviors will be done through the final oral examination

The signature of students are collected and verified as an evidence of their presence

URBAN SOCIOLOGY - Basic knowledge of history of the city is recommended

Basic knowledge of planning process and procedure and the techniques for the management and representation of territorial data and information
SOCIOLOGIA URBANA - Il corso prevede lezioni con il supporto di slides, foto e video. Durante il corso saranno invitati ricercatori e studiosi a presentare i loro lavori
.TECNICA URBANISTICA 2:
Il corso si articola in lezioni, esercitazioni su temi e aspetti di natura tecnica e attinente la progettazione a scala infraurbana, con svolgimento guidato di esercizi e soluzione di problemi. Le lezioni del corso sarannno integrate da seminari di approfondimento e discussione di singole tematiche
URBAN SOCIOLOGY - The course includes lessons supported by slides, photos and videos. During the course, researchers and scholars will be invited to present their work
TOWN PLANNING:
The course is organized in lessons and workshops on issues and technical aspects related to the project at an infra-urban scale, supported by the solution of exercises and problems. Seminars on relevant issues will also be held.
SOCIOLOGIA URBANA - Il corso illustra le principali tradizioni teoriche e di ricerca della sociologia urbana, presenta una serie di riflessioni sui cicli di urbanizzazione (prima rivoluzione urbana, seconda rivoluzione, urbanesimo planetario) e sulla centralità e le caratteristiche (in termini di struttura sociale) che le città hanno oggi.

URBAN SOCIOLOGY - The course illustrates the main theoretical and research traditions of urban sociology and presents a series of reflections on the cycles of urbanization (first urban revolution, second urban revolution, planetary urbanism) and on the centrality and characteristics (in terms of social structure) that cities have today
TOWN PLANNING 2:
The course provides some recalls on the inner structure of territorial planning process in Italy, as well as information on procedures and rules for working out town plans and projects. The course also approaches the main technical and practical issues of town planning and urban engineering, including the sizing and the shaping of urban spaces, blocks, streets and intersections. The second part of the course focuses on urban modelling, covering the several kinds of approach to the analysis of urban systems, as well as comparing and discussing the most used methods and operational techniques, from the oldest and classic ones (Lösch, Zipf, Reilly, Lakshmanan-Hansen, Lowry) up to the recent configurational approach. Exercises on the several issues of the course are provided, in order to test the actually train ability of the student to solve problems on the different matters. An individual workshop, consisting in the working out of an urban development plan, is assigned.
